Agriturismo E&E – Private villa with pool and panorama terrace

Our Agriturismo E&E is located above the village of Vicopisano in the heart of the olive production area “Monti Pisani”. Here you can pass relaxing vacation in a country home that provides you with all necessary comfort. Enjoy the unique view into the plain of the Arno river, a refreshing bath in your private pool, sightseeing tours across Tuscany (Pisa, Lucca, Gan Gimignano, Volterra), hiking in the „Monti Pisani“ and many other things.

Your villa has four double rooms (2 rooms with double bed and private bathroom, 2 rooms with 2 single beds and a common bathroom) on the first floor. On the ground floor, there is the living room with a double sofa bed, another bathroom and the kitchen.

All bathrooms have a toilet, a sink and a shower; one is equipped also with a bathtub with jacuzzi.

The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove with 5 flames with kitchen hood and electric oven, a microwave, a washing machine, a dishwasher and a fridge/freezer combination. To get the real country house feeling there is also a fireplace in the kitchen.

The living room is equipped with a satellite TV and DVD player. WIFI is available everywhere in the house.

If necessary, all rooms in the house can be heated and are equipped with air condition that is controlled room by room. Heating and air condition are included in the morning and the evening respectively in the early afternoon and the evening. On request, heating and air condition are available 24 h. All windows have mosquito nets to protect you in the house against annoying insects.

You will access the villa via a non-asphaltic street (approximately 500 m). There are multiple parking places on the ground.

You will access the house from the sun terrace – equipped with table and chairs. From here you walk 5 steps down to the pool (open from April/Mai to September/October) with shower and sunloungers. Under the big trees beside the house, there is a second seating area including a barbecue.

We make bed linen and towels available. For stays of more than 10/17/24 nights, bed linen and towls are changed on a weekly basis. There is also weekly house cleaning.

At extra charge our guests can book the following services:
- typical tuscan lunch or dinner (3 serves and drinks) – 25 € per person
- rental car for the stay with pick-up at the Pisa or Florence airport – rates depending on the season
- 24h availability of heating or air condition – 10 € per day

Vicopisano is a municipality with 8642 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2017) in the province of Pisa in the region Tuscany. The municipality ranges over approximately 27 km². It is located approximately 50 km in the west of Tuscany’s capital Florence and 15 km in the east of Pisa and in the mountain chain Monti Pisani.

Vicopisano came into being at the confluence of the rivers Serchio and Arno (The river Serchio was later redirected and, since that time, did not go anymore into the Arno river but directly into the Ligurian Sea). Due to the strategically favorable location and due to the short distance to Pisa, the village and its economy came into being. A document from 950 a. Chr. mentioned first the village. After the defeat of Pisa that had a significant influence on Vicopisano against Florence, the village came under the authority of Florence where it stayed with few exceptions (1494-1498 and 1502-1503 and later in the duchy of Tuscany) until the unification of Italy. In 1434 Filippo Brunelleschi built the Rocca of Vicopisano, also called the Rocca of Brunelleschi or Rocca Nuova.

In Vicopisano, there is a small supermarket, a bakery and a butcher shop as well as bars and restaurants. You will find a big supermarket (also open on Sundays) in a distance of 5 km.
