Clean and comfortable place. Great location close to beach. Nice hosts. Access to the pool across the street was nice with kids. Not the best place if you’re sensitive to noise since can hear neighbors upstairs when they’re walking around, and AC a bit loud (nice that it worked so well but would have been helpful to be able to turn off, the controller didn’t seem to work). Overall good place.

Rental was clean with tons of kitchen supplies and extra linen for pull out sofa. Loved the wagon on the porch to take stuff down to the beach. Easy access to pool and beach. Wonderful gym amenities!

the Unit is good walking distance from the sports club and the beach/hotel areas. Quit and comfortable. It was nice to have air conditioning. kitchen well supplied, but a good idea to bring spices from home to save on costs.

Enjoyable week away

We enjoyed our stay at the Kiahuna Plantation. It is in a great location to be able to walk to many things. The place was nice and the AC was greatly appreciated for a comfy night sleep. The pool and workout facility were really nice.

Great stay

Great stay! Multiple nice touches... clean patio furniture... chairs, wagon and boogie boards.... well stocked kitchen. The athletic club is close and beautiful. Host was very accommodating!

The unit itself was comfortable, and we liked the location and space. A few minor fixes are needed: a noisy refrigerator and patio tiles that need repair, but otherwise the unit was fine.Unfortunately, three advertised amenities were unavailable during our stay: the beach directly in front of the property was closed, the pool was closed, and the laundry facilities were unavailable. The pool was one of the main reasons we booked this property, and we packed expecting to have access to laundry.The biggest disappointment was the host’s rude and dismissive response. He implied we should have known about the hurricane less than a month before our stay and questioned why we hadn’t contacted him to ask if the advertised amenities were available (we booked before the hurricane). Guests should be able to rely on a listing without having to verify that everything included is actually accessible.Even more frustrating, when we checked out, we were told the pool would reopen the following day. However, we were then informed that it had actually reopened the day before and that the condo owner had been notified. We were never told, so we missed the opportunity to use the pool for at least a day.We appreciate the 20% discount provided by the host, but it didn’t make up for the lack of communication or the way our concerns were handled.We understand the hurricane wasn’t the host’s fault. Our disappointment is with the lack of transparency and the rude response.

Communication with this guest was only in the direction of refund. The beach could be used but the entrance to the beach was 100 feet away. All the facilities of the Poipu Athletic Club were working, but the pool did not start working. I could not give precise information, because the Association is constantly pushing the date of the opening of the pool. The last information was that it opens on October 1. Only the laundry room did not work. I have only bad recommendations for this guest. She received a discount price and 10% more discount before arrival. I granted her an additional 20% discount, but that was not enough for her. I think this guest wanted to use my space for free. Very bad recommendation for future hosts.

Great property excellent communication by the owner very accommodating to allow an extra night last minute and very much appreciated. This unit had everything we needed, easy, walk to the beach, beautiful property grounds, and right across the street from our unit was the awesome coffee shop. I would definitely return again.

Great condo at Kiahuna Plantation. I've stayed in several condos on this property, and this condo is comparable to others. Kitchen has everything required. There is ample parking. Beach is approximately a five minute walk, but there is a wagon that you can load up with chairs, towels, snorkel gear, and floaties to cart everything all at once. Would stay here again.

Beautiful location - great apartment

We had a great stay - unit is beautifully update, had everything we needed. The AC was a bonus and the place very clean. Our host was very responsive when needed and helped with our questions! You can't beat the property - so relaxed and peaceful. Would stay here again! Mahalo to Ivan for a lovely stay.
