Great GetAway

Wife and I enjoyed the week being in Seaside. Bike riding, shopping and of course the best part, Eating. Location is great near the fitness center and adult pool. Not a far walk from the beach nor the town square. Homeowners Association made sure we had passes and documentation for beach gate and restroom code as well. Seaside is a very quite location with strict rules on noise and visual property appearance. As close to Mayberry as you can get. Great Family location and very kid friendly as well.

wonderful location and perfect cottage!

Perfect little get away!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I wish we could have stayed longer! This was a cozy house that had plenty of room for my wife, myself and 5 tween/teenage girls. We loved the screen porch and the close proximity to the beach and Seaside "downtown" area. We also took advantage of the pool the last day which was very nice and provided towels. I would stay here again!

Location location location

Right in the center of Seaside near everything. The Homeowners Collection was very responsive with any needs and questions we had. We used the concierge service to deliver food which was perfect. If you plan on making gourmet meals here (which we were not), the kitchen is a little small but we knew that going in and it was perfect for us. There were 4 of us and it was a great place for us. But the location to the beach, the square with shopping and restaurants was wonderful.

The perfect Seaside getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay at Jasper in April 2023. The cottage is neat and clean, and the location is wonderful - we love being at the north side of town since it's a little quieter than 30A. We walked to the beach every morning, to the Family Pool every afternoon, and to restaurants every evening. The layout was perfect for our family of 5 (two adults, a teenage boy, and two teen girls). All the beds are comfortable, too!

Jasper is charming

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed this beach getaway so very much! It was the perfect size for our group (4 adults, 3 toddlers), but a little bit of a trek to beach and pool with little ones. The distance from the beach did make it a very quiet spot in the community which was appreciated in the evening. Not too far from playground which was also nice. Our favorite part was the screened in front porch with swing, hammock, and plenty of seating for everyone. Would stay here again!

Location was great, close to the pools and playground for the kids; one complaint is the management company was supposed to change light bulbs that were out but they never came back so it was a little dark at night in the main room. If this were fixed it would be a five star stay.

Not our best stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Seaside for many years. This cottage was perfect for our family but the road being torn up and blocked off was very inconvenient. we had to park our car a block away thus had to pack and unpack from that distance. We were told in an email that the road was being paved, but I had no idea it would be this bad. We would have made other arrangements if possible.

Very Comfortable

Reviewer Comments: It was a lovely three nights at the Jasper House.The only thing that disappoints me is that I left a small case of jewelry in the smaller upstairs bedroom. Unfortunately the housekeeping staff either did not discover it or did not turn it in. Totally my mistake yet I would have been extremely grateful if the finder had been honest. I'm sure by now it has been discovered.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is dated . Late 80’s.Appliances are dated , stove with oven are max 27”” slammed in the corner against the fridge. No counter space on that end. Bathroom dated .Overall a 5 star out of 10. One again great location, lucky we went out to eat a lot and watched the sun set so the time spent in the house was to rest our head.

Good time but appliance issues

I reached out to the company prior to our stay to ask about number of plates and chairs, saying I planned to host friends for dinner. We arrived to discover the smallest oven I’ve ever seen but the worst was that it didn’t work. It was a known problem (it needs replacement) and I wasn’t told. The manager came up with a nearby (also tiny) oven for us and comped one night. We soldiered on. However I would def check with them about the working order of appliances before going if you plan to use any. Bridgette was great and tried hard to help but it was an ordeal. Adorable cottage. Great location.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience of the oven. The owner did purchase a new oven to replace the current one.
