We're so glad the view, cleanliness, and beach gear made a great impression! We do want to note that the lanai maintenance and building updates are disclosed in our property description, and we always encourage guests to review those details before booking so there are no surprises. As for salt, pepper, and cooking oils, we made the decision to remove those items for sanitary reasons. We appreciate the feedback and hope you'll consider staying with us again. Mahalo!

The host was excellent. Great communications, and everything was as described. I gave it four stars because of the hallways leading to the condo. There is a noticeable musty smell. This has nothing to do with the condo, but it is a poor first impression of the building. The location is good, easy walking to the beaches, restaurants and shops. The condo is old, but nicely refurbished. Not fancy, but comfortable. The view of the harbor and ocean is great. Really nice to wake up to. Another plus was having a car rental company right in the building. Island Rental had a Mustang convertible for 99/day. We’d definitely stay here again.

We're so glad you appreciated our excellent communication and accurate listing! Thank you for the feedback about the hallway mustiness, that's a building issue beyond our control, but we understand it affects first impressions. We love that you enjoyed the nicely refurbished condo, the beautiful harbor and ocean views, and the convenient car rental in the building. We're happy the walkable location and comfortable space made for a great stay. We look forward to welcoming you back. Mahalo for choosing Ali'i Beach Rentals!

We're sorry to hear that you experienced the construction noise during the last two days of your stay. We understand how disruptive that must have been. Exceeded our expectations

We enjoyed our stay more than we thought we would. It was quieter than we thought it would be, being so close to bustling Waikiki. This condo faces the ocean and harbor which we loved, but it also reduced the noise. We loved watching the sunsets, the boats coming and going, the fireworks, and being able to walk everywhere! The building is older, but i think it helped reduce the noise. I would definitely stay here again.

When we got here, things were fine except they were very few glasses cups and utensils and kitchen towels. They did get those items to us, but the worst part was they explained that they would be minor maintenance and they didn’t explain that they were going to close off the lanai for our last whole week. Be careful and verify if the lanai will be closed off, we did not enjoy that part of our stay the seating arrangement chairs need to be updated. One or two of them are broken. The main chair in the living area has no cushion support. You can’t even use it. Overall, we loved the view and the fireworks. It was just sad that we weren’t able to use the on the lanai.

We're really glad you enjoyed the view and fireworks, but we completely understand the disappointment of losing lanai access during your last week. The building's exterior repair was an unexpected and last-minute request outside of our control, and we are sorry it caught you off guard. We're happy we were able to offer a discount to acknowledge the inconvenience, and we've noted the feedback on the seating and chair cushion for our next maintenance visit. We hope you'll consider staying with us again so we can give you the full experience this property has to offer. Mahalo!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I stayed 5 nights at this rental and it’s exactly as described in the description- great location, clean, well-stocked and easy to access. Views are great and it’s super convenient to Waikiki, Ala Moana Park/Beach and shops. If you have a car, parking is super easy for $1 an hour at the Marina/ beach or in the garage in the building. As a solo traveler I felt safe here.
