Dog-Friendly Apt with King Bed

Enjoy this oversized main level one bedroom with a King Size bed, one bathroom apartment with dedicated work space and fast internet in a charming south city neighborhood. Plenty of room in the oversized kitchen, living room, and free laundry in the basement.

Although we do not like fees in order to maintain our units we must make you aware of the following:
We are ONLY dog-friendly. To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay for all guests a non-refundable fee of $100 per reservation will be charged to cover additional cleaning costs. Pet fees are NOT included in the original reservation price or room rate provided. Any applicable pet fees will be added to your reservation MANUALLY and charged AFTER booking.
If you do not honor our pet policy (dog-only disclosure) you will be fined $200.
Strict NO SMOKING policy. If you smoke inside you will be fined $250.
We are not responsible for items left behind by guests. If you leave an item behind and you want it to be sent back to you. We charge $25 for that item to be shipped plus the shipping costs.
Any stay greater than 21 days will require an additional long-term cleaning fee of $50 that will be MANUALLY charged after reservation confirmation.
An unapproved late check-out fine is $50.

The king size bed saved us! We used this vrbo for a month while we visited our daughter. Yes, the bed is by the front door, but that did not bother us a bit. The vrbo has plenty of room and the kitchen was stocked with cooking supplies. The internet went down once and we contacted the host. They were GREAT about getting back to us immediately! It wasn't their fault, just regular internet issues like we all deal with occasionally.

The location was great and close to places to eat and a bus line. The neighborhood was fine. The unit was located in a fourplex so sometimes the neighbors were a little noisy. They were respectful after 10:00 p.m. I just tend to be a little more sensitive to sounds. The typical person probably wouldn’t even notice. But I highly recommend anyone staying here.

Best place great location

The bed is awesome and so comfortable. Location is really good. Right off Kingshighway. I would visit again. Management is very attentive and professional Made my visit the best!

Clean and Relaxing

The apartment was clean and cute! The bed was incredibly comfortable and the apartment had all the amenities we needed. I would definitely stay there again if I come to St. Louis.

Overall, the place was a good bargain! The location and price were great! We were surprised that the bedroom was the entryway for the unit, as this wasn’t clear in photos. Being that there is no door to the bedroom, I didn’t feel like the listing for a 1bd was fully accurate. We also found the shower knobs difficult to use, but it was tolerable. Also, The WiFi connection only worked sporadically. Overall, it was a fine stay in a great location!

Clean and spacious getaway!

The Southampton was very clean and had more than enough space for my partner and I! The check in/out process was super easy and Jeffrey was a very nice host. The kitchen was very spacious, with updated appliances (including a gas stove), my partner and I had ample space to cook a nice dinner and breakfast(s) during our stay. :)

Great Experience

This apartment is in a good location with a lot of yummy locally owned restaurants nearby. The place is clean and has a lot of room. No issues with noise from the adjacent apartments and the actual neighbors were quite friendly. My only complaint (and it's very minor) is that there weren't enough towels. Definitely recommend staying here if you are in St. Louis.

Scary

The first Friday we stayed there another tenant in the building had huge party and the police were invited. Gunfire and yelling throughout night. The good news was that the owner let us out earlier and did not charge for unused time.

Comfortable

We chose this location as it was only 1.5 blocks from our daughter. We only slept and showered at the property. The bed was very comfortable and it was nice having tvs in both the bedroom and living room. The rental is on the second floor of a four unit building built in 1921. The narrow, steep steps may be an issue for some. Jeffrey was very quick to respond to any questions I had and the check in and check out were super easy. He even did a first day follow up just to be sure everything was okay.

2nd Time booking- won't be booking again unfortunately

First time around, we LOVED IT. It kinda became our little spot, neighborhood was great, the property was great, no issues. Second time around, we had issues out the gate that I did communicate with the owner, who was very responsive and tried to remedy the issue ( Wifi was a bit of a.mess) and one of the TVs was glitchting. Ended up using my hotspot on my phone for the duration of the visit. The neighbor above was VERY loud and had people in and out all hours of the night, had company of some sort blocking the entire road, so we had to park 3 buildings away, and would be outside having conversations, directly in front of the window of the unit we were staying in. Pretty awkward and uncomfortable. Nothing at all like our first visit in December 2023.They left 2 towels for us, we ended up going and buying our.own towels to use. Overall, just really disappointed with it.

The apartment was snug and cozy. We really appreciated the location - it was close to everything. If there were things I would point out: a) the tv in the bedroom has a line in it, the couch in the living room is very uncomfortable, havin a luggage rack or somewhere to put our bag down isn't a terrible idea and having longer pulls on the ceiling fan is ideal- w/o the ability to open a window the high ceilings and weather shift made it very stuffy in there. Getting the fan going was a game changer. But let me be very clear- we would stay there again, and these are nitpicking things. It was clean, and a great value and great location. Everytime I reached out there was a response. I woudl recommend it to anyone else.
