We fell in love with this area because of its stunning natural beauty and the peaceful environment it offers. Our lakehouse is nestled amongst the bluffs of Lake Pepin, which is the widest point of the Mississippi River, stretching two miles across. The view of the water, framed by these towering bluffs, is breathtaking, and there’s something magical about being so close to nature.

One of the things we love most is the incredible wildlife. From the birds that frequent our dock to the majestic eagle’s nest in the tree above us, there’s always something to marvel at. Deer often roam nearby, and at night, the frogs create a soothing symphony that perfectly complements the gentle sound of the water. Whether you’re watching wildlife during the day or listening to the sounds of nature at night, the connection to the outdoors here is truly special.

Another unique aspect is the ever-changing water levels of Lake Pepin. It’s part of the charm and rhythm of life on the Mississippi River. We’ve seen it in high water, low water, and everything in between. Each level brings its own beauty and offers different opportunities to experience the lake. 1. Private Beachfront Access with Plenty of Amenities: You’ll have direct access to your own private beach and dock: complete with Adirondack chairs for lounging. Enjoy the lake with our 6 kayaks, 2 paddleboards, pedal boat, and lily pad for endless water fun. Whether you want to paddle around Deer Island or float and relax, we’ve got you covered. We’re also happy to provide life jackets for your safety and convenience.

2. Fire Ring and Entertainment Space: Our lakehouse is perfect for evenings around a bonfire. We provide firewood and a fire ring for cozy fires right on the beach, creating the perfect setting for roasting marshmallows or simply enjoying the night sky. With ample space and plenty of seating, it’s ideal for entertaining family and friends.

3. Stunning Views of Deer Island: Located between Pepin and Stockholm, Deer Island offers a unique view and an adventurous destination. You can kayak or paddleboard around the island, adding an extra level of exploration right from your beach.
