Upon arrival, there were a number of discrepancies between the VRBO posting and what I found. Specifically, there were not "two bathrooms with tubs/showers", there was only one. The write-up also indicated there was a "jack and Jill" bathroom set-up, but there was not. There was only one bedroom that accessed the bathroom directly. The write-up stated the condo was "steps from the beach", however, this unit was a good15-minute walk to the beach. (I am fit and walk fast) I was also surprised there were no beach chairs, however, knew there would be no beach towels. I was uncertain if there was mold. My daughter is healing from mold toxicity and planned to visit over the weekend. I expressed this posed a serious problem. the quality of the furnishings, the stained carpeting, etc were also notedI reached out upon arrival and asked what the policy was if I was dissatisfied at 4:24 pm 6/17. I followed up 6/18 at 1158 as I had received no response. I needed to send the same information 5 times that day only to be told "The Operations Manager is handling the issue. Please give her a bit to get back to you. " The operations manager never did. It wasted my day, led to no resolution, and I felt gaslit. I also sent pictures of the weights in the weight room that were severely chipped/rusted and felt unsafe to use and was told there was nothing they could do about that. I rented another place. I would still like compensation.

Home away from home

We loved the location and size of the condo. It was comfortable furnished and had everything we needed in the kitchen. This is a very friendly community and so close to the beach! The pools, hot tub and tennis courts were great - the workout room had 2 nice treadmills and one set of 25 lb dumbbells, but nothing else. We already booked for next year.

Panhandles

The place was filthy. Not cleaned. We called Panhandles and no one tried to come clean. Panhandle Getaways were rude and unprofessional. Very poor maintenance and customer service

Beautiful

Property was as described, beautiful, perfect for our family trip.

The walk to the beach is a little longer than I thought since the unit is at the back of the property but I was always able to either find parking at the beach or at the pool in our resort across from the beach. My kids didn’t like walking 😆 lol. Other than that, I loved where we were! The previous occupants left a nasty cigarette water bottle on the back deck but I just ignored it and left it alone. The back yard is not in the greatest of conditions but we didn’t spend any time out there. The master bedroom’s balcony is at the front of the unit, so there is no privacy, but it is across from the tennis courts. Panhandle was great in responding to extra towels and a few other odds and ends. I would definitely rent there again.

Perfect spot!

Condo was very clean and away from all the traffic. Beach area wasn't as crowded we found a good spot everytime. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful

It was just what we wanted! A little further from the beach than we expected, but all in all, it was perfect! The condo was beautiful, and completely updated, the beds were very comfortable and everyone was so nice! We will definitely be staying with panhandle again!!!
