We loved our stay! The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a wonderful getaway. The hosts were extremely communicative and available to provide assistance, even mid-stay when we unexpectedly lost power due to a storm in the area. We would happily stay again!!The driveway is not for the faint of heart. As expected, the parking space/room to move vehicles around is limited and at the top of a steep drive. While it was tight, we had just enough room to navigate with an oversized, HD pickup truck.

Thank you so much, Amanda! We’re so happy you enjoyed your stay and found the cabin clean, comfortable, and well equipped. 😊 It was truly a pleasure hosting you, and we’re glad we could be there to help when the unexpected storm caused the power outage. We really appreciate your thoughtful review and would absolutely love to welcome you back for another Smoky Mountains getaway!

The cabin was nice, it was very clean and a good location. There were plenty of towels and the beds were actually really comfortable. The driveway is a little steep and kind of narrow for parking at the top, but should be expected in the mountains. Overall, the cabin is a nice place to stay in the Smokies, view was great and it was a good value.

This property was perfect! Comfortable and super clean with everything you would need for a weeks stay! An amazing mountain view!

We spent 2 nights at Mountain Secret and wished we had time for more. The view from the upper deck is extraordinary. We didn’t have time for the jacuzzi or hot tub but enjoyed the pool table and dart board. The cabin is spacious and beautifully decorated. It’s a short drive from Gatlinburg and the Smokies. The host was very responsive to any questions.

Mountain Secret

The cabin itself is located in a prime area. The Cabin is roughly a mile from the main road leading into down town Gatlinburg and offers quick access to Pidgeon Forge. The biggest complaint is not the cabin, but rather the owners who continuously watch security cameras to see what your doing at the property.

Our apologies sir for your frustration, however we only pulled the video surveillance after you notified us concerning misuse of the hot tub, which we appreciate. However, once reviewing the footage, there were damages/incidents found upon your check out. We give a disclaimer in the house rules that there is surveillance on the outer perimeter/driveway for the protection of the guests and property.

Great Experience

Everything was as advertised. Cabin was very clean and looked great. The views from the front porch (and hot tub) were gorgeous. The cabin is just minutes away from the main strip in Gatlinburg, the aqaurium and the National Forest. Communication from Alex was perfect starting from the day we confirmed the rental. He promptly answered any questions we had. We will defintely look to re-visit this property on our next visit to Gatlinburg.

Wonderful!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Alex was a wonderful host who responded promptly to all of our questions and made the reservation process a breeze. The location is nice and private, yet within just about 10 minutes driving distance from the National Park as well as the strip in Gatlinburg, making it very convenient to access everything that we wanted to do. The view from the deck was gorgeous, and we appreciated that the cabin was stocked with the essentials like paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, etc. An extra non-stick skillet could have come in handy, as we cooked breakfast a few times and had a limited selection of cookware to use, but not a big deal. Also, the sliding back door was a little tricky to figure out how the locking mechanism worked, and the whirlpool tub looked like it could use a deeper cleaning - but again, nothing major, just a few minor things that we noticed. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.
