(Please note we had the property off the rental market for over a year while doing a full rebuild of the attached guest house, hence no recent reviews. We have repainted the entire house, inside and out, and have all new indoor and outdoor furnishings. Also this home is not located near the fire affected areas of Malibu.)

Welcome to your own private slice of Malibu coastline along with sweeping Pacific Ocean views. This spacious home, boasting 75' of beach frontage w/wraparound oceanfront deck and a large courtyard with a pool and hot tub, is located on Malibu Rd, a quiet and safe road away from noise and traffic of PCH, and within walking distance to restaurants and shops, incl. Malibu Country Mart.

OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE:

* Private parking, ample parking for guests
* Can rent out separate guest house if need more space
* Host can help arrange for a private chef to serve you an unforgettable meal on the deck overlooking the ocean or help book with our trusted therapist for a massage on the deck.
* The pool and spa are NOT covered nor protected by an enclosure
* We are flexible with check-in and check-out times if we don't have other guests that same day. Must request at time of booking as housekeeper schedule is set in advance and can't be changed last minute.
* House is located on a wet/dry beach. What that means is during low tides, there is beach to walk and play on, and during high tide the water may come up to the house, which could limit your access to the beach. Also, during times of big swells plus super high tides, the beach can become rocky. We cannot guarantee the surf and beach conditions/access at anytime so
please keep this in mind when booking and check the tide charts when planning your trip and your days while staying here.

Loved our stay

The pool was so wonderfully warm it made the trip so special. Waves crashing right out the window were so comforting. Everything was clean and well appointed. Can’t wait to try the place in Summer.

Dream house!

This house was everything we wanted for a quick mother/daughter getaway. Perfect location, insane ocean view, sweetest little courtyard with pool and hot tub. It was perfect and we will be back!

Great place to stay if you love the ocean

Great house with everything you need to play at the beach, even in the winter! I would only change one thing, have a heating element on the back balcony for night time (burr) and front fire pit for relaxing by the pool at night.

Pepperdine Graduation Weekend

We had an amazing time for this spectacular 3-day weekend. The property was just as billed on-line and we enjoyed the views and amenities. The pacific ocean lapping against the rocks gave us all peaceful sleep.

Magnificent!

This property was even more fabulous in person! Our family was so thrilled with the house on the ocean, the comfortable decor and the pool! November turned out to be a great place to visit, especially with the heated pool! The property manager was wonderful as well. Would love to return to the exact place!

Lovely place

Beautiful home, with beautiful views. Not off of PCH so no noise from cars just sounds off the ocean. Tara was awesome excellent communication and accommodating. Definitely recommend.

Amazing Stay!

Absolutely fabulous house! Very comfortable. Immaculately clean. Beautiful beach location. Serene courtyard. Good parking. Communication with Tara was easy. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. I highly recommend this property. We hope to be back in the future.

Gorgeous beach front

Lovely home, when you first walk in you feel like you are floating out at sea, the waves in the back are so close!!! The views of the ocean out the entire back of the home are amazing. The front courtyard with pool and jacuzzi is also lovely, with string lights and beautiful plants and tile. The owner was great to work with on a couple minor issues. Would happily rebook.

Great way to celebrate Chinese New Year

My family had a wonderful weekend celebrating Chinese New Year with family. It was magical. My mom was so pleasantly surprised by the beautiful house. We did fly in on the day Malibu was hit by a 4.6 earthquake. The management company was very responsive. We never worried about our safety.

an amazing unique retreat

This is just a once in a lifetime place! Enough space that people can have both privacy and togetherness. Spent a long weekend and realized we never really had to leave. Had it all. Walks on the beach, amazing views, comfy beds, and all the extras. Close to lots of amenities and yummy restaurants. We had some technical difficulties with the door when we first arrived but contacted the host Tara and she immediately had a solve. I would highly recommend this place for any special get away!

Great beach house

I spent several days at the house, and it was extremely nice with an amazing view. Despite the photos not showing it, there is a sand beach when it isn't high tide, which was a pleasant surprise. The house is set far enough away from the highway that you feel like you are away from civilization, but there are amenities (coffee shops, good restaurants, etc...) very close by. Tara was incredibly responsive and helpful. Can't think of a single complaint!

Simply Perfect

The property was simply perfect - pictures were accurate, yet did not capture how beautiful the property and setting is. The house description was also accurate - the owners decorated very well and the home was well stocked with all the necessary amenities. Hottub and pool worked well. The direct access to the beach was amazing and came in handy at low tide. Tara, the property manager, was very helpful and easily accessible. This is a highly recommended property and we will be back.

Wonderful Malibu Home

We were in Malibu with our adult children and their spouse/significant others celebrating birthdays. This is a wonderful home, beautifully appointed, and in a great location. We were able to take long walks on the beach, enjoy the amenities of the home and a short driving distance from parks, shopping and great restaurants. We had a minor issue with our stove and the manager was immediately responsive. A wonderful home and a wonderful weekend!

Beautiful home on beach

We had so much fun in this house being right on the beach. Not a lot of people on this beach so it was has if we had our very on private beach. The pool and spa was a delight to have for some for my sisters kids that came to visit us. The beds were very comfortable and the house was very clean. It had everything that we needed. The host was great to work with and always there if needed. Great sunrises and sunsets to see right from home and patio. We will definitely stay here again if we come bank this way. I would definitely recommend this house for a private getaway in Malibu.

Amazing home in Malibu

What a beautiful weekend we had thanks to Tara & this lovely home on the water. We were lucky enough to rent this house for a staycation here in Malibu. The house is exactly as pictured (even more stunning in person). My children really enjoyed jumping in the pool and watching for dolphins in the sea every morning. It has everything you need (we made meals at the home) and is very centrally located. Ralph’s, Whole Foods, blue bottle are a short drive away. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this rental. We hope to rent it again in the future! 10/10 would recommend this rental for your next Malibu adventure.

Fantastic oceanfront rental in Malibu!

Communication with Tara was friendly, prompt and useful. Check-in was a breeze. The house is perched above the ocean, and has amazing views from the living room, master bedroom and deck. The location is ideal - close to Central Malibu and its restaurants, shopping, convenience - but tucked away on Malibu Rd so you are not right on PCH. The beach directly in front of the house is very rocky, so if you insist on stepping out of your doorstep directly onto a sandy beach, it may not be the place for you. But it's a quick and easy walk (along the beach at low tide, along the quiet road at higher tide) to get to sandy spots on the beach that are great for swimming, paddleboarding, etc... The house is clean and well-maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. Highly recommend!

I grew up in Orange County and attended college at UC Irvine. I got my law degree at USC and practiced for several years before having children. I currently live in Brentwood with my husband and have two "kids" in college. I am a licensed real estate agent and manage a number of short term rental properties, including homes in Malibu, Marina del Rey and Mammoth.

I'm an avid sports fan, specifically of the Angels and Chargers, and take great pleasure in beating the boys in fantasy football! I love Scrabble, card games, beach bike rides, and hosting friends and family as often as possible with good food and wine.

I love to roam the globe, and am a well-traveled Airbnb guest so know what a host should do to create a comfortable and enjoyable experience for guests. I strive to give all my guests a 5-star quality stay and pride myself on my responsiveness and flexibility.
