この施設について

"Coco's Cottage" is a classic OBX "Beach Box" with what you & your dog(s) need to RELAX and enjoy your time at the beach. Located at MP 6.5 between the roads, and built in 1972, much of the interior remains unchanged, including some of the decor & artifacts! 2 full baths & 2 queen beds, along with 2 twin beds. Comfortable furniture, kitschy decor, deck and under-house area, lots of kitchen utensils, etc. Games, books, Wi-Fi, TV's and the same beach & salt air as available at places costing 12 times as much!!
1 block from the Beach Road & 5th St beach access at the LIFEGUARD BEACH. 3 blocks from the Avalon Fishing Pier. The new Target/CVS/Starbucks is at the end of the street, within walking distance. Belk, Food Lion and other shopping is across the by-pass from Target - all within walking distance. Eat like a local at The Jolly Roger, Awful Arthur's or the Avalon Pier 'beach bar'....
As Granny used to say, "Our house is clean enough to be healthy, and dirty enough to be happy." We hope you can visit and "live like a local" while enjoying all that the area has to offer. Sit. Stay.

Excellent place

The place was in a nice area close to all the fun things in Nags Head. Would definitely stay here again in the summer!

Great Stay

Thanks for the stay and only issue was no toilet paper when we arrived. Also, the shower drain the the first bathroom was clogged with hair and other matter that actually could been seen. Simply fix would be to have those that prepare the house for guests to simply clean as if their family members were coming.

Happy New Year

We had a great time...this cottage is in a very convenient location, easy access to the beach and in response to a previous post, the stickers in the yard are REAL!! We appreciate immensely you allowing pets because our "children" go w/us everywhere. Thanks again and hope to visit again in the spring!

Perfect Lowkey Getaway

Me, my husband and his brother stayed recently to attend a wedding in nearby Corolla. Getting to bring our dog was a huge factor and Don was nothing short of pleasant when we spoke. There is a lot of retro charm and the vibes are truly “no frills, just chill”! We weren’t looking for modern high tech and just wanted to relax. What I would call the main feature of this location is the proximity to the beach. Sun, surf and sand were only a block away! While sitting out on the balcony we could hear the waves and the sea breeze was perfect at night! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and highly recommend.

Coco enjoys the spirit of history, freedom, funkiness and fun that the cottage embodies and exudes. 3 generations of her family have lived or vacationed in this home, and she is proud to keep the spirit of family and fun alive for her family and yours.
