It’s Complicated
The home is beautiful but we had trouble from check-in to check out. I arrived early and cleaners were still there on the property, no problem had to shop anyway. 4 O’clock cleaners were still there and had an awful story about the previous renters and the injury of one of the cleaners on the stairs. Them as I tour the home I see that the double beds would never hold two adults. The headboard on one was loose, two had horrible mattresses, bunk beds were so wobbly that I couldn’t imagine sleeping on them. So brought in two air mattresses Then family arrived and we found the sheets were not fresh so had to sleep on top of beds. Younger children (2) feet were black from the floors so had to wear shoes entire time. Lots of broken doors, hole in walls from lack of door stops, clogged sink and the list goes on. Kitchen was well equipped but items were everywhere in cabinets and drawers so you had to search constantly for the items you needed.
There were positives in the home. Toys were available for the children’s entertainment. There were plenty of sitting areas for conversations. Plenty of parking space. And I would have given even a lower score if the owner hadn’t listened and done something for me for the condition of the property
