Relaxing Pool and Spa Beautiful NW Bakersfield

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Sitting at the head of the cul-de-sac, this property is a paradise for those who enjoy the outdoors. The backyard has a grass yard with a trampoline and room to run, the covered patio includes a grill, a table and chairs for meals on the patio, a fire pit, and then there is the fully fenced, heated pool with waterfall feature and jacuzzi. Perfect house for both kids and adults to spend quality time outdoors with family and friends!
The space
The location of this property is perfect and only getting better as Bakersfield works to connect the 99 Hwy to the Westside Parkway, which is the main East-West vein connecting houses like this one on the far West side of town to any area or hot spot as you travel East. Just ~3 miles East on Hwy 58 you will find a few grocery stores and gas stations, a multitude of fast food and sit down restaurants, a few bars, a dine in movie theatre, and much more. Another~2-3 miles beyond that and you will come to the Rosedale Commons strip mall area where anything you are looking for can most likely be found.
Guest access
The entire house is accessible to our guests including the large 2-car garage bay. There is also plenty of parking in the driveway and the street and this property can easily accommodate 5 cars right in front of the house. Any hall closet within the house might also be locked and not accessible to our guests. It will be made clear if this is the case.
Other things to note
Each bedroom includes a TV with subscriptions to Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+, HBO Max, Peacock, and PureFlix. Nespresso pods are provided as a gift and more can be made available upon request. The house contains a full kitchen equipped with all the necessities, plenty of towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, cleaning supplies, etc. It is set up to feel like your home away from home!

Pets are allowed under some circumstances. Host approval and an additional pet cleaning fee will be required prior to booking so please send inquiry before booking.

During the winter months, if you would like to use the spa heater to heat the pool water, an additional surcharge will be factored in to account for the cost to run the heater for 8-12 hours straight, which is what it takes to bring pool water temp up into the 70F to 75F degree range. Again, please inquire prior to booking if you know you will want to heat the pool water.

Property met our needs for the week we were there- which were dog friendly and had a pool. The location of the house is GREAT! Neighborhood is nice & although it backs up to a main road it was extremely quiet. Beds were very comfortable…everyone slept well. The house itself is in need of some basic TLC…the tile floors need a DEEP clean as do the carpets in the bedrooms. Kitchen amenities were basic. Communication with owner was quick. Check in was easy.

This was our second time staying at this home, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. Communication with the owner is always fast, clear, and friendly, which makes the whole process smooth and stress-free. The house is a perfect fit for our family - spacious enough to sleep everyone comfortably, with plenty of room to relax and unwind.Our kids especially love the pool and the trampoline, which have become highlights of their stay each time. The home is also very well air-conditioned, which we really appreciate during the warmer days. A few thoughtful touches stood out to us as well - plenty of towels and bedding, delicious Nespresso coffee to start the day, and enough TVs to keep all the kids happy with their favorite shows.We’ve truly enjoyed both of our stays here and would gladly come back again. Highly recommend!

Worn down

The house was in a good area but worn down, definitely “used” as my son described it. And now they are filling a claim that the comforter and sheets need replacement. Well they needed replacement BEFORE our stay. Wish I took photos but we did not.

It was okay

Overall it was okay, my advice would be to take pictures of everything and get insurance. The biggest let down was no communication on the jacuzzi, it didn’t work, we were really looking forward to it, and we had to find out on site that the heater was broken when we reached out to the owner to confirm…kinda lame. The landscapers showed up randomly with no communication from the owner, the kids were on the trampoline and were scared. Woulda been nice for a heads up on that or postpone it during our stay. We had to be careful with the kids because there’s a lot of broken tile and counters, huge chips and dents that are sharp. Lots of dust woulda been nice for a cleaner to come before the stay as well. When we messaged the owner about being compensated for these things he offered $100 bit then made up a claim with insurance that “continently” totaled to $100…kinda shady and abuses the VRBO system.

Great Property, perfect for family

We had a lovely stay in Bakersfield to celebrate my grandma's 90th birthday. The house was spacious and perfect for catching up with family. The pool and backyard were fantastic and we would definitely stay again!

Nice Roomy House at end of Culdesac

Beautiful home. Well maintained. Fully stocked with most everything you could want (although oddly short on coffee mugs and wine glasses). Plenty of room to spread out. Probably ideal for young kids as there were 5 or 6 twin beds or bunk beds. Master suite was excellent. Nice pool and jacuzzi (although the jacuzzi was under repair while we were there). Good communication with Jonathan. We would stay here again for sure.

Short Trip

I was travelling with 6 teenagers in between tournaments. They house was impeccable. The pool was heated and warm. The hot tub was perfect. We had more than enough room. The kitchen was well stocked. Everything was absolutely perfect. I was solo so a safe neighborhood was important. MORE than I could've asked for.
