This is the vacation your family has been waiting for.
Jonathan's House is a private 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom home tucked into one of Fort Lauderdale's most peaceful neighborhoods — just minutes from Las Olas Boulevard, the beach, and everything you came here to do. But once you step through the gate into the backyard, you won't want to leave.
THE BACKYARD
Your own private resort. A heated saltwater pool surrounded by tropical landscaping so lush you'll forget you're in a city. Outdoor dining for the whole family. The kind of space where the kids play for hours and the adults actually relax. Day or night, this is where your family will live during your stay.
THE KITCHEN
This isn't a rental kitchen with a dull knife and a sticky pan. This is a fully equipped chef's kitchen with professional-grade appliances and everything you need to cook real meals — or just make the kids' mac and cheese without a 30-minute Uber Eats wait. Groceries are five minutes away.
THE BEDROOMS
Three bedrooms, three full bathrooms — so nobody's fighting over the shower. King bed in the master, queen in the second bedroom, twin beds in the third. There's also a sofa bed in the living room if you need it. Everyone gets their own space.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD
Middle River Terrace is one of Fort Lauderdale's best-kept secrets. Quiet, residential, walkable — but five minutes from the energy of Las Olas and ten minutes from the beach. The Galleria mall is four minutes away. Holiday Park is a 14-minute walk. You're close to everything but far enough away that nobody bothers you.

I'm Jonathan — a firefighter, experienced Superhost, and the owner of this home. I built this property to be the place I'd want to bring my own family on vacation. Safety, cleanliness, and comfort aren't afterthoughts here — they're the foundation. I'm always available if you need anything, but I also respect your privacy. This is your home for the week.

While the host was welcoming, we had numerous issues. Numerous times we had issues with toilets. One would work sometimes, and not others. One other would have issues that created a sound, resulting in no sleep throughout the house.No coffee maker was also a negative. Again, while the host was accommodating and location was good, this felt lacking what other properties do with basic necessities and usefulness.

This offers every guest the blends they prefer most. This is the first complaint or issue we have ever had about something like this. Regarding the toilets? Noises? Great time

The house and location far exceeded our expectations. The proximity to the Ft Lauderdale downtown and beaches was ideal for our stay. The host was great and communicated with us very nicely. We would definitely stay here again.

This property is in a great location and the neighbors are great. House is just as described and pool is wonderful. Very relaxing stay and there was enough room for all 6 of us. Property owner is very responsive.

We enjoyed our stay here. Host is very responsive and helpful. Property is very clean and cozy. Beds and couch were very soft and comfy!! Big master bedroom and bathroom. We also enjoyed the backyard, pool was warm and amazing. Grill was a plus!!

I bought this property in Fort Lauderdale because I wanted to build the kind of place I'd want to bring my own family on vacation. Every decision — the heated saltwater pool, the chef's kitchen, the neighborhood — was made with that standard in mind.

I wanted a home close to the beach, in a quiet neighborhood, with real privacy — and Middle River Terrace checked every box. You're five minutes from Las Olas, ten minutes from the beach, and four minutes from the Galleria — but the street itself is quiet, residential, and walkable. The backyard is completely private, surrounded by tall palms and tropical landscaping. Great restaurants, family activities, nightlife — it's all minutes away. But honestly, most guests spend half their trip in the backyard and never want to leave.

Jonathan's House was designed around one idea: what would I want if I were the guest? Every detail exists because I've stayed at dozens of rentals and experienced what most hosts get wrong. The heated saltwater pool is your private backyard resort — surrounded by tropical landscaping, palm trees, and total privacy. The chef's kitchen is fully stocked with everything you'd actually need to cook a real meal, not just a microwave and a dull knife. There's a spa bathroom with a jetted tub and bidet, a dedicated workspace, a brand new pullout queen sofa for extra guests, and an outdoor play area for kids. Quality linens, towels, coffee, toiletries — the things that shouldn't feel like an afterthought but usually do. Three bedrooms, three full bathrooms, sleeps eight comfortably.
