Great Location

Clean rustic cabin near Sequoia and Kings Canyon intrance. Enjoyed morning coffee on the deck.

Great Location for Kings Canyon and Sequoia NPs

Location is near perfect for the National Parks. Nice cabin. Well appointed. The bedrooms are all clean and comfortable. There are window units in each bedroom that made them cool and comfortable. The property is nice and there is wildlife around all the time (deer, turkeys). Great little bar/grill right down the road. Great deck on the cabin to watch the sunset and critters. We spent a lot of time out there. All that was good. The not so good. The main living room and kitchen were not air conditioned and got almost unusable in the late afternoon. (Note: the advertisement does not state the place has AC.) Also, the washer and dryer had signs on them saying “do not use”. Lastly, there were a couple mice in the living room one morning. Tough to keep mice out of a cabin in the woods. Only other thing I’d mention; don’t drive in on Todd Eymann road. It’s pretty bad. Drive in on Badger Road. Quick turn off Badger onto Todd Eymann.

This place is a dump.

Avoid this place!! It was dirty, there were cigarette butts all over the deck and beer bottle caps scattered around outside. When you walk in the door there is an overwhelming mold odor which we realized later was the washing machine. All of the linens smelled of it. In the middle of the night on the first (and last) night we discovered mice. The property manager refunded our second night (we didn’t stay another night) which was good. It was way too much for what we got.
