Welcome to The Lake House - our freshly updated 3 bedroom, 3 bath cabin on Lake Vista with views of the Patuxent River/Chesapeake Bay from the private pier.



Enjoy everything Southern Maryland has to offer all within a 10 minute drive - Calvert Cliffs, Flag Ponds, Solomons Island - hiking, fishing, boating and beaches.



Located just 90 minutes outside DC, The Lake House will become your new go-to retreat from the hustle.



Come relax and make memories on the water with your family and friends.



The Space:

This is the tranquil getaway you're looking for! Bay breezes off the water, coffee on the screened porch in the morning, an afternoon kayak on the lake, an evening soak in the hot tub or a glass of wine on the pier at sunset while the kids play in the retro arcade.



If you're looking for a relaxing getaway in nature with modern amenities, look no further!



The Lake House is updated and equipped with everything you will need for your getaway - 3 spacious bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. The primary bedroom ensuite has a large shower, while the hall bath and the lower level ensuite have tubs.



Enjoy cooking meals in the full kitchen with everything you will need to prepare and share meals at home. The kitchen is stocked with everything from plates and glasses to cookware, serving dishes, utensils, toaster, blender. Nothing has been overlooked!



The kitchen has a Keurig coffee maker that will make individual cups of coffee or up to a 12 cup pot of coffee for a crowd! We include a starter supply of K-cups and sugar as well as coffee filters for making a pot of coffee. You will need to supply ground coffee and any additional coffee/sugar/creamer you will need beyond what is provided.



Our bathrooms are stocked with towels, hand towels and wash cloths as well as a starter supply of toilet paper - 2 rolls per bathroom.



The living room has a 42 inch Smart TV - bring your own password to login to your Netflix, Prime, Hulu accounts. There is no cable TV. You will need to login into your personal streaming accounts.



The kids will LOVE the retro arcade! And the adults will be transported back in time while playing the retro Nintendo games. The arcade has an electronic dart board, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter II, Ms. Pacman cocktail table with 60 additional games and a Marvel electronic pinball machine! Endless fun in the evenings or rainy days.



Take the kayaks out on the lake (April - October) or bring your pole (and fishing permit) and walk down to the rocks and go fishing in the Patuxent River!



Grill outside on the deck overlooking the lake and enjoy dinner under the stars on the picnic table. Finish the day with a glass of wine on the Pier watching the boats go by on the river. It doesn't get any better!



3 Bedrooms (Sleeps 8)

Main level:

* Kitchen/Living/Dining with access to deck with gas grill and screened porch.

* Primary Bedroom - King Bed with En Suite

* Secondary Bedroom - Queen Bed with bathroom just across the hall.



Lower Level:

* Third Bedroom - 2 full beds (sleeps 4) with ensuite bathroom with tub/shower.

* Arcade with games and TV

* Garage access with laundry



Out back by the lake:

* Large fire pit with seating for 8

* 7/8 person hot tub over looking the lake

* Deck with gas grill

* Screened porch

* Pier for launching kayak/paddle board.



Guest Access:

**Please Note** you must climb a full set of exterior deck stairs to access this property. The entrance is on the upper level.



The Neighborhood:

Our home is located in a water access community. You will have access to the community beaches.



The neighborhood is laid back and friendly. You can bring your fishing pole and walk down the street (2 minute walk) to the river and fish off the rocks!



Other Things to Note:

Please understand that we are sharing our lake cabin as a relaxing getaway with family and friends and fun in nature and on the water. This space is not meant for parties. We require that quiet hours are observed after 10pm out of respect for our neighbors and in keeping with the peaceful nature of our community.



For additional peace of mind, we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance as we unfortunately cannot act as insurance in the case of unforeseen circumstances. We do uphold our cancellation policy. Thank you for your understanding!
