Come and enjoy everything the lively and charming town of Greenland has to offer when you make this lovely retreat your next vacation home! You will love being located just south of Portsmouth and Kittery, both known for their delicious foods and beautiful shops. Take advantage of the water with a short drive to miles of coastline, hosting dozens of beaches. Take the kids to Water Country for some family fun where you will find the largest water park in New England.

The main living space of the home is located on the second floor, where you will come across a sun-lit open floor plan seamlessly combining the living room, dining area, and kitchen. The wide-open kitchen is well-equipped with new appliances that will make cooking a breeze. Prepare delicious and steamy coffees using the Keurig coffee maker available. Unwind in the inviting living area and start planning your next adventures while relaxing in style. Or if you would like to delight yourself with beautiful vistas, you can always head over to the large deck. On this level, guests will find three comfortable bedrooms.

The lower level of the home features a large pool table, a second living area with a TV, a fourth bedroom, and a washer/dryer for your laundry needs. Additional amenities include partial AC units in each bedroom.

The hot tub, pool, wood stove, and fireplace are not available for guest use.

The house was perfect for our needs. Plenty of space and sleeping arrangements for the 7 of us (3 couples and a single). Neighborhood is very nice and quiet as well with a decent sized yard surrounded by trees and a tall fence in the back yard for privacy. Was extremely clean inside and very professionally prepared for our stay. Plenty of towels, blankets and all other manner of conveniences available. Only issie we had was that the refrigerator did not seem to be holding a proper temperature and the freezer hardly worked at all. We had to throw out a few things that we tried to store in the freezer before we realized there was an issue. Other than that it exceeded our expectations and we would definitely consider staying here again if we visit the area.

I most generally do not write reviews, however after trying to rectify the situation and getting no response I would like to, in good conscience, let others know. The house was fine in general except for these very important areas. First and foremost, the fridge smelled like fish SO bad. Upon opening the freezer the ice was soiled. It looked as though fish had been set directly in there. Our entire reason for renting vs hotel was use of the kitchen to prep for an event we were attending. The stench was so bad we had to use coolers for our food, for the entire weekend. The rest was minor, although gross, the throw rugs needed to be washed and the bedding was lacking. There were no mattress covers and bottom mattresses were exposed. These areas really need to be addressed.

We had a great stay overall! The staff was very nice and welcoming, and the property itself was amazing – clean, comfortable, spacious, and very quiet. We had read some comments about bugs and cleanliness issues, but in our experience (mid-August) the house was literally spotless, and we didn’t see a single bug. That said, we were a bit disappointed to find that some of the main amenities advertised were not available. The swimming pool and spa were both empty, and the fire pit was blocked off. Since these features were shown in the listing, it was frustrating to arrive and realize we couldn’t use them. All in all, a beautiful property and excellent staff, but be aware that some of the amenities may not be in service.

The price was right

Property provided us an affordable place to stay as we celebrated Christmas at my son’s who lives nearby. Whole house seemed to have plenty of space, it was just that space.not the wow factor, which is ok. Minor issues but will send to property manager… Overall, would probably rent again for the same price, but would not pay more.

This property was close to Portsmouth, NH and convenient for sightseeing in the area. Inside the property was clean. However the refrigerator and freezer were not working properly. We did call and let them know on our first evening and we received a call back from a person out of the state. We were told someone would call us the next day, but never received a call. Outside this property is in very bad shape. There is a boat in the yard with trees growing in it. The fence around the in ground pool is bent and falling over. Debris everywhere. While we were told ahead of time the pool could not be used, we were very surprised by its condition along the the rest of the outside. Im surprised the local government officials have not made this an issue.

Simple small inconveniences, but overall a good stay

Great location, sheets crisp and clean, tons of towels. Clean kitchen. Pool table was great. Just missing a few things from a five-star review. It didn't have an area guide, missing the patio table on the deck, outdated Roku, and didn't have any bord or card games. While it didn't have the wow factor of some other places we've stayed at, it was perfect for our large family and we would consider staying here again.

Nice place great location

Thw house is nice and big. Bedrooms were a good size. One of them has its own bathroom. Wifi wouldnt work. But not a problem the phones worked fine. Its too bad we couldn't use the hot tub. That would have been a great bonus. The location is perfect. Close by to so many things.

Great location

The house was very clean as promised. It has great potential if owners would update the furnishings of the house. While the furniture was very clean it was mostly worn out. Definitely not up to par with other properties we have stayed in associated with VRBO. The outside has got to be cleaned up. Abandoned swimming pool with tall brush growing up around it and what’s up with the junked Bass boat in the back yard. If I was a neighbor I would contact local government agency to get this yard cleaned up. This would be a great property with just a little money invested in it.

Unfortunately the rental was in poor shape smelled of sewage, infested with flies, basements was constantly wet and damp because of the humidity in the basement, grass was so high we had field mice in the garage. Definitely really disappointed in this rental

Horrible House and No Help From VRBO

The yard and house we’re not maintained. The doors on the bathroom didn’t close properly. The spring matters on the bed in the lower level was filthy. The TV and ice makers didn’t work. Would not recommend this house or the management team.

Disappointed

The house is in desperate need of attention. From the moment we pulled into the driveway with the overgrown yard to the point we walked into the house and the damp, musty smell, and what could only be described as the sewer smell in the half bath, we were disappointed and kept saying we should have just stayed in a hotel. There are countless other items that show a severe level of neglect with this property.

This house should not be made available. What an embarrasment gor VRBO and vacasa. There was a repulsive stench in the refrigerator, which I believe was fish juice. There is no way the vacasa cleaners could have missed it. DISGUSTING! It was do gross that I had to wash it out becsuse we had food to store in it fir our short stay. And even after washing it out the stench was still there. I texted the vacasa agency multiple times asking for help, and was told they would reach out to the local staff to get it resolved. NO ONE CAME, and it was not resolved, so I had to do it. We found un-clean dishes in the cabinets, ants crawling, and the floors in the basement were dirty. Pillows were flat, and uncomfortable. It felt like we were staying at great grandma’s house that was old and musty. Thd only decent thing in yhe house was the shower in the master bedroom. The windows in the master bedroom itself were open when we arrived and AC was not hooked up during the hot summer, very strange. Don’t even think anout going outside in the backyard, there are concrete blocks randomly thrown out there, along with other unsafe debris. Very dissapointed with this stay, 7/3/25-7/5/25. Avoid choosing this place even if you are desperate. I would actually rate it as negative stars but that is not an option. OH, the WiFi was good!

A big disappointment with poor customer service

The house was large, kitchen lovely. Unfortunately, our stay was plagued with issues that Vacasa refused to addressed. Upon arrival, the glass top to the coffee table was cracked in two with shards present. We called Vacasa, and after a lengthy hold we were told to clean it ourselves and a local team would address the problem (they did not follow up). We then found the downstairs bathroom was unusable, smelling strongly of feces and urine. Even with the door shut, the smell leaked throughout the entire downstairs. The wifi did not work during our entire stay, despite following all of the troubleshooting advice on the Vacasa website. When these two issues were brought to their attention, we were told a local team was dispatched, though no one contacted us or showed. The final straw when going to bed the first night- the master bed sheets were used, with hairs present throughout the fitted sheet. At 11 pm we scrambled to find a flat sheet that was clean and fit the bed. Any of these problems could be addressed and still haven’t been by Vacasa. Problems happen and no stay will be perfect, but the lack of customer service in attempting to resolve of compensate for the lack of promised amenities is extremely disappointing. At this point, I do not recommend renting from a Vacasa property. I will update if this situation is rectified.
