Stunning Views from every room at this Private Villa !!!

Tucked Away is perfectly situated in the hills of Calabash Boom with expansive views from Coral Harbor to Norman Island, the BVI's and beyond, just minutes from the village of Coral Bay on St Johns quiet East end with great little shops, grocery stores and a variety of dining options close by. Both The East End and North Shore Beaches are just a short drive a way.
The house is just spectacular from the moment you drive up to the island stone parking area that greets you, the tropical gardens that welcome you as you enter the front gate, and end your day relaxing in the jacuzzi (which is brand new - replaced November 2024) on the private deck under the starry sky overlooking the boats in the harbor.
As you enter Tucked Away you will be in a bright and airy freshly furnished living room with a soft upholstered sofa and two super comfy stuffed chairs, end tables and lamps. The interior is very spacious and the screened in porch extends the indoor outdoor living space where you can enjoy morning coffee, drinks, dinner, or even yoga.
The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pot and pans, utensils and a gas range. Whether cooking inside , or grilling with a view from the deck and an awesome breeze, both are one of the many great experiences that await you at Tucked Away. The view from every room will truly take your breath away!

This place is amazing! Gorgeous views, amazing amenities, clean, well stocked, hot tub and great communication with the host. The only negative was the drive up to the place - steep with plenty of switchbacks, but not that different from some other spots on the island and definitely worth it! We would absolutely stay here again!

Our Favorite Place

We’ve stayed here at least six times and keep coming back. Beautiful views and very private. Dena was proactive in alerting us of a local road closure this year. We will be back.

Perfect spot in Coral Bay!

We LOVED our stay here! The porch / hot tub was a favorite every evening...perfect place to relax and watch the stars come out. Sunrise from the master bedroom was pretty hard to beat. The road up to the house is quite a journey but not unlike the rest of the island and totally worth the trek for the view!

Tucked Away and enjoyed the stay

Beautiful property and perfect for our application. The property Mgr. Dena, went out of her way to accommodate our travel delays and get us there after hours when we arrived. The house is a short drive to the best beaches. The views from the balcony are beautiful. I would recommend this place to anyone.

We loved it!

My husband and I stayed at Tucked Away this past week and loved it! This was our first time to St John and it was so beautiful. The place had an incredible view. We loved watching the sunrise from the porch. Highly recommend! Would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Still Amazing

We love staying at Tucked Away! This is our second time at the property and it was just as wonderful as the first time. It is very quiet and very tranquil with stunning panoramic water views of Coral Bay and beyond. Very clean. Very cozy.

Wonderful Experience

The property is terrific and just as described. We have stayed at VRBOs all across the U.S. and have never had a better experience with a host than this trip. They made SURE that we had a great time even when we had major travel issues. I can't say enough about how above and beyond they went for us!

Amazing villa with beautiful views

The pictures don’t do it justice. The views are amazing throughout the entire villa. The property manager was extremely responsive to our every need. Great amenities from a hot tub and washer/drier to beach towels, coolers, and beach totes. We had a fantastic stay and can’t wait to return!

Living the dream

This was our second stay at this St. John property, and you won't be disappointed. This home is exactly as advertised—if not better. It is conveniently located near hiking trails, great beaches, and excellent restaurants. The house was immaculate and well-stocked. Dena was very easy to communicate with and stayed in touch throughout our stay. Trevor met us at the house to ensure we got checked in okay.

Fantastic

Beautiful property in a stunning, secluded location. Well equipped with beach gear (chairs, coolers, towels, beach bag). Views are phenomenal. Dena was very helpful - showing us the way to the property when we first arrived on island was much appreciated. Highly recommend!

Paradise

We had a terrific time at Tucked away! We had everything we needed to make are vacation wonderful! The views were amazing and beaches were very close. Dena was so awesome! Not only did she make sure we got to the home ok, she recommended places to visit and was always available to answer questions. This was an unforgettable trip.

Island Time

This place was perfect for our family’s little get away. If you want the island life feel then this is the place for you. Getting to the home is an adventure and you will definitely need a jeep, but the view definitely makes it worth it. We couldn’t have asked for a better host. Dena was very responsive and answered every question we had. We will definitely be booking again for our next trip to St. John. Can’t wait to go back!!

Perfection!

Tucked Away was exactly what we expected. We could have stayed forever in this villa. The island vibe was impeccable and the sea views were out of this world. We spent our mornings drinking coffee on the deck and settled into our evenings playing games at the table in the screened in porch, or relaxing in the hot tub. If relaxation, serenity, and the feeling of being “tucked away” is what you’re looking for, then this is the perfect place for your next get away!

Great location, amazing views

We enjoyed our stay at this very clean, well equipped cottage in Coral Bay. The cottage is recently refreshed with newer furnishings. The views are stunning from every room. I would recommend it for a couple, family of 3 or 4 (if two kids don't mind sleeping in same bed) or two couples. It was just the two of us, and we liked having our own space and bathrooms. We made breakfast every day, and packed our picnic lunches for the beach. All chairs, towels, and coolers provided. Highly recommend if you want to be on the quiet side of the island.

Nice view-skimpy amenities

No kitchen towels, only 4 bath towels for four guests, a mouse or rat ate a roll of toilet paper in the master bedroom. Shower pressure and volume was poor. Nice view but the place needs a lot of work, especially for the price charged

Rick- I am so sorry that you had this experience. I would have gladly told you where the back up towels are stored if only you’d have reached out during your stay. We have very effective pest control as a rule as we are in the tropical forest abutting the National Park. I am ramping up our pest control service and hope you will reach out and give us another chance, as you can see from our other reviews, your experience is not the norm and we sincerely apologize

Calabash Boom

We really like this property and have stayed there 4 or 5 times over the years. It is very private and has an incredible view. The location is great for exploring the Coral Bay side of the island and is fairly easy to get to if you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle. Although you could get away with a two wheel drive if you wanted to. Accommodations are comfortable and we enjoy the hot tub after a long day on the beach and in the water. We did have an issue with the AC, but it was fixed and wouldn’t stop us from going there again.

The home offers the main living space with open air onto the screened in porch allowing you to enjoy the best of both worlds , with easy access to bedrooms with AC and bathrooms on the main floor!
