Great Mtn getaway

Perfect place to stay when visiting Mt. Ranier. The home had everything you would need and is stocked with plenty of helpful information about the surrounding area.

Lovely stay at the Gnomersons

My family and I stayed at the Gnomersons Hideaway last weekend for a ski trip. The place was great. Clean, cozy, lots of space for our family of 4. Great location, and wonderful hosts.

Very nice property! We loved the atmosphere and the grill was top notch! Air conditioning was great for the hot days and the bathrooms/showers were nice and updated. Stopping in town for great scenery and went to the local brewery for a beer and ice cream was a nice touch to the stay.

We enjoyed our time in Packwood. The location was good for entertainment Mt. Rainier NP. The house was great with everything we needed!

Exactly as described

Everything was convenient and organized. We had a great evening around the firepit and 2 days enjoying an overcrowded but beautiful Mount Rainier National Park.

Mt Ranier Visit

The property was very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed our stay, perfect for our adventures to Mt Ranier. Only issue I had was there was no window covering over the back or front doors. Felt a little exposed at nights but never felt unsafe. Would stay again. a

Mr Gnomerson's Hideaway was very nice

Mr Gnomerson's Hideaway was very clean and comfortable. It was a nice surprise to find many spices in the cabinets and condiments in the refrigerator. Plenty of dishes, wonderful washer & dryer, 2 bathrooms & 3 bedrooms. Good location for hiking at Mount Rainier. Nice info from the owners and TMC vacation rentals with tips on hikes, restaurants and use of the house.

Lovely

The house was very clean and very thoughtfully done. All needs we're anticipated and met. We appreciated the lights on outside at night so we could see it well. It was also nice to have so much information about the house and the area around us in notebooks inside.

Peaceful

The only thing I didn't care for is the beds. They are two small for couples and my husband is 6' 3" and was on bunk beds we couldn't sleep together.

Pleasant stay at Gnomerson’s

We enjoyed our time at Gnomerson’s. It was stocked with everything one would need including items often missing such as coffee filters and many condiments. It had a fire pit and loads of wood. It is dated and some of the utensils and pots/pans were very well used. For example, the egg whisk was plastic and fell apart when we tried to use it. Still, this is a decent place just a few minutes from downtown Packwood and the road to paradise. Recommended.

Great Mt Rainier exploration point

Outside of the entry code not working which frankly was VERY upsetting to start the stay, the remainder of the experience could NOT BE BETTER. Place was immaculate, had all needed amenities and location was perfect for our first trip to Rainier. Packwood is a small gem of a town that was perfect for having places to visit for groceries, restaurants and yet not touristy and access to Sunrise area of Rainier from there was easy. If ever returning we would definitely look for this property as the one glitch of having the wrong entry code was quickly resolved although frankly something like that should NEVER happen. After a long drive there and thinking the code just becomes active after the checkin time we find out the proper code was never in place. Should've called earlier but didn't have good cell service and wasn't able for a bit. Worked out well once we were able to contact the manager of the place.

Although, there was some initial confusion with the door code, we are happy to report that the guest was able to check-in successfully within 1 minute of contacting us thanks to our teams rapid responsiveness. We are happy to hear the guests enjoyed their stay in Packwood and hope to host them again.
