INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom & one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens & towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

Ruined vacation. The AC/Heater was broken. After 4 days of explaining that the unit does not work to management and that their maintenance staff kept claiming they repaired it. The unit was not operable and was being replaced after my stay. You can only run the ceiling fan over the bed if you have the apartment lights on. Horrible service from Panhandle.

Perfect location

I love being able to walk everywhere!! However, there was a large stain on the bedsheets and our bikes were never delivered.

Perfect location about a block from Rosemary Beach town. Close to everything and super clean unit. PM very attentive.

Village

Had difficulty finding the unit. Also the Colncierge third party needs to be updated. They do not go to the Destin airport. Unfortunately I had relied on that referral and was left with no place to store luggage afyer checking out. 3 hour wit fir our flight.

We had a difficult time getting the bicycles. We had to call many times. A/c went out the first night. Also make building C more prominent. We were looking for the unit for some time in the wrong bldg.

Awesome stay

The stay at this place was great. Easy parking, close to tons of restaurants and things to do. We took advantage of the dolphin tour which was a lot of fun and got to see quite a few dolphins and an amazing sunset. We also played a round of golf at emerald bay. The course was in decent shape and had a couple of holes right on the bay. There was an issue with codes we were initially given for the bikes but the company resolved that rather quickly. I understand that was not about the property itself. The room was very comfortable and my wife actually slept better in the bed there than at home. There was plenty of room to relax. The only three complaints I would say is that the coffee maker is a keurig not a traditional coffee maker which is not a big deal but we brought coffee not our k cups, again no big deal we bought k cups and can use them at home. The second issue could be a bigger deal depending on the weather and temperature. The light switch to control the light by the door also controlled the light and fan over the bed, so you could not have the fan on without having the light by the door on. Studio room so the light was basically in the same room. Lastly there were no drawers to put clothes away. There were a few shelves in a cabinet but no place to unpack for the week. For our stay these were all very minor issues and we would 100% stay there again without a second thought.

Rosemary Beach

Overall impression was good. Enjoyed the property and the Rosemary Beach community. Room: exception was the room door that would not close easily as the guest had to pull hard to secure the door...CODE VIOLATION. There was a note on the door explaining to pull hard...guess it was placed on by the cleaning crew? Initial communications with property manager was good, however reaching them for information on amenities (golf, boat excursions, etc) was a challenge. It seems when you called the provided number, you were switched to another number (not provided in advance). When you did finally reach the "right person", information was scanty. In addition, phone messages were left, but no return until I tried again. Suggest an information sheet is provided with golf course numbers, etc in advance of arrival AND a map of the property/parking is provided in advance. Better information is needed. Beaches that we were told to use where over crowded with vendor beach chairs and umbrellas, which no one really used...little space available for those with their own gear. Good alternative for those with the need for space is nearby Henderson State Park. One more...get rid of the wristbands...no one checks if you're using it, anyone can ride the provided shuttle carts and pool/beach use. The "reservation" person is the only person who cares. Again...enjoyed the property, less the challenge with the door and commutations. Thank you.
