IMPORTANT COVID-19 ANNOUNCEMENT: I use a professional housekeeper to service property between guest stays. I have instructed her to wipe down all hard services with a disinfectant. In addition, all linens are replaced. The couch is leather so can also be wiped town as is the TV remote. The couch cover is washed thoroughly. If you have any additional concerns or special requests please contact me directly. I want to make your stay as relaxing and stress-free as possible!

Relax and Enjoy DOWNTOWN MYSTIC. A short walk to everything Mystic has to offer. You are renting our guest cottage known as the Mystic River Boat House (located next to our main home). Recently installed Mitsubishi Ductless Air Conditioning keeps the cottage cool in the heat of the summer!
In 2015, it was completely renovated- 1 bedroom cottage comfortably sleeps 4. Fully equipped kitchen with granite counter tops. Kitchen table seats 4. Full bath. Wash and dryer. Use of grill and deck (spectacular Long Island sound sunsets included!) with picnic table, 3 mountain bikes and two kayaks, all linen, cookware, dishware, silverware and basis cooking supplies are all included in rental. Full backyard is also for your use as well.
Located in the heart of downtown Mystic, a short walk to all of the shops and restaurants you are also 2 blocks from the Mystic River Park with a boardwalk along River with some activity going on almost every non winter weekend whether its a Mystic Eats, pirate festival, Blues concert or the famous Mystic Art Festival. Leave your car(s) in the driveway (if you don't take the train which is a short walk also!) and enjoy our vibrant community by the sea.

The location with a view of the Mystic River and Long Island Sound but also the charm of downtown Mystic where there is a festival or some other activity almost every weekend in season, including the popular Mystic Arts Festival, Mystic Eats, the Wooden Antique Boat Parade, the lighted Christmas Boat Parade, Garlic Festival, Mystic Food Festival, Mystic St. Patrick's Day Parade, Olde Mistick Village Festival of lights and Downtown Holiday Stroll & Luminaria to end the year on a spectacular note!

Cool central air conditioning! Also - Fresh bed linen, towels, soap, cookware, dishes and eating utensils and shampoo are supplied free of charge. In addition you will receive our "Cheat sheet" of places to go and things to do...most of which you can walk to from our property everywhere...a mini urban setting inside of a coastal town. I written an insider's guide to Mystic based on my own experiences over the last 20 years and those of our guests. I send out this packet of information as soon as you reserve to help you plan your stay.
