Great Stay

The views from the balcony were breathtaking, especially watching the sunrise over the Gulf with our morning coffee. The location was perfect right on the beach and super close to shops, restaurants, and fun activities. We loved having direct access to the sand and waves, and the community amenities made our stay even better. Check-in was easy and communication with the host was awesome, so everything went smoothly from start to finish.

Great stay

We loved it here! The condo is close to runaway island, the ice cream place, Zollo’s pizza, and the local steamers. We walked to all of those. The elevator was very quick. Starbucks in the building was so nice. The condo was clean and well taken care of. Felt like home

More pro’s than con’s

Pros: Well kept, well stocked, updated and clean. Comfortable in every way. Spacious for one bedroom. Large balcony. Bonus to have a fresh fish market next-door. Order fresh crab legs, steamed and ready in minutes. Also an oceanfront restaurant next-door in case you don’t want to cook. Con’s: Awkward access to the pool. Seem too small for the size of building. Parking garage is nice to have, but a grocery journey door to door.

It was a good stay

I couldnt give 5 stars on this location. Unit is definitely needing updates on the beds and sofa, the most uncomfortable and noisey. Other then that make sure you bring salt and pepper if you plan to cook, absolutely nothing left over there. Stove needs replaced burners dont all work. Very noisey area in town at night but expected in that area. We enjoyed the local food and beach access was great. Overall unit worked for us.

Not a pleasant stay

The condo smelled smoke. Cigar and cigarette butts were found on the balcony. The master bathroom sink dripped non stop. You’ll hear it all night while trying to sleep. Elevator around check-in/check-out are a nightmare. Bathrooms have mold in the showers.

Fell a little short…

The property manager is sweet and responsive, but the property failed to meet our expectations having stayed in other units in the building numerous times. The door handle fell off when we checked in, the unit was not clean, the shower had black mold, and the bedroom bathroom faucets both leaked. The patio door was nearly impossible to open, and the bed was awful. Many of the elevators were down. However, the view was beautiful and access to amenities was nice. We will likely not book again, but enjoy staying at Emerald Beach.
