Welcome to Norman's Nest! Nestled amongst the pines on a quiet, residential road in the Adirondacks! Our completely remodeled, three-bedroom cottage has plenty of room for two families. The first-floor bedroom boasts a king size bed, while the second floor provides two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other with four twin beds. Both floors have a full-size bathroom with shower. The finished basement has a half bath with a pull-out sofa for those nights the kids want to fall asleep watching a movie! Norman's Nest has the feel of your grandparent's cottage with modern-day decor. Relax in the winter in front of the gas fireplace on the oversized leather sofas or snuggle up during the summer with a good book in the screen porch. No matter what season you visit, the cottage is sure to provide the perfect ambience.

We had a wonderful time staying at Norman’s Nest! The house is fully renovated, comfortable, and well-equipped. We enjoyed the many spaces to spend time as a family outdoors and indoors. It was nice how many games were available for us; we had fun playing scrabble and air hockey in the evenings. Jenn sent helpful reminders during our stay to make sure we didn’t miss trash pick up etc. I can’t recommend this place enough & hope to stay again in the future.

Norman's Nest is an amazing place! Peaceful, clean, loads of family friendly games, which we played almost every evening, kayaking and fishing on the pond, enjoying coffee while watching the sunrise from the deckand wine and sunsets on the front porch. Highly recommend!!!!

Piseco Lake

We had a wonderful vacation at Norman's Nest. The house was very comfortable with 3 sitting rooms inside as well as 3 gathering/sitting areas outside. The kitchen is very well equipped and the bedrooms are a very nice size. We look forward to going back.

Awesome Fall Getaway @ Norman's Nest!

We had an amazing time at Norman's Nest. The house is amazing - it is peaceful, clean, very well equipped kitchen, good size room and lots of space. We had a blast playing some of the games, enjoyed the serenity of outside and would highly recommend a stay at Norman's Nest. Jenn is great at communicating the details and anything we needed to know. We are looking forward to going back!

Amazing Adirondack Getaway…

The house is absolutely beautiful with great amenities for all ages. Our three boys (ages 11, 13 & 15) forgot all about their electronics for the 5 days we stayed. Plenty to do with the basement game room, pedal boat, kayaks, tree swing and hours of fishing. The lake was very quiet and felt as if it was all ours. Jen (owner) was very responsive leading up to and during our stay, answering any questions we had. The family has already expressed their desire to go back again in the next year or two!!! Thank you for a great stay and for many lasting memories made!

Lovely, comfortable lake cottage! Plenty of room for everyone to spread out from the well-stocked game room to the porch and deck. Things were spotless at check-in and the kitchen had everything we needed. Shared beach on Piseco Lake is a few minute walk down the street and through a fielded area, it's a beautiful sandy spot and the water is shallow a long way out. Many thoughtful touches from the owners like bedside charging stations and a basket of bug repellants. Thank you for the stay Jenn!

Welcome to Norman's Nest! We purchased our cozy cottage two years ago after falling in love with the exterior color of the house! From the moment I walked through the door, and walked upstairs, it reminded me of my grandparents' house when I was a child. I knew this was the lake cottage I wanted to make memories with my children and future grandchildren in!

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

We loved the feel of the house. It has enough space to sprawl out and just enough that you can be together as friends and family! The neighborhood is wonderful! Quiet enough you can hear nothing but the birds in the morning, and safe enough to let your children ride their bicycles up and down the road. If you are looking for summer non motor sports fun, then take the canoe/kayak steps away from the cottage and paddle until your heart is content. If you are wanting more adventure, the boat access is down the road to all sports Piseco Lake. We are located right off the snowmobile trail for winter recreation and about ten minutes from Speculator for downhill skiing and tubing adventures. If you are the kind of person I am and like the quiet and simplicity of home, look no further! My favorite space in the cottage during the summer and fall is the screen porch! I could sit for hours with a cup of tea and a good book. But when I am exhausted from snowmobiling on my max 10-minute ride to the Oxbow Inn with the family, I am perfectly content sitting in my cozy clothes with my favorite glass of wine snuggling up by the fire! Chris and I have done our very best to make Norman's Nest that special place you want to visit when life is telling you it is time to slow down!
