Great Time

We had a great time. The house was clean and had plenty of things to keep us entertained. We enjoyed the ping pong, billiards, hot tub, etc. Thanks for the good time.

not quite like the pictures

Seems like the “not so great” reviews are deleted because I saw some and now they are gone. Overall: * Arrived and the pool was green - not swimmable. Texted owner but responded too late. * Lights hung in the backyard did not work. * The hot water on the first floor did not work. * The fridge took over 24 hours to get to a semi cool temperature on the coolest setting * The upstairs master bathroom is extremely dangerous. The floor is so slippery because it is tile. We had to tell people not to shower in there in case someone fell and cracked their head open * There was a ton of hair in one of the beds so the sheets were not changed in between stays. I would not go back again.

Illegally rented property!!!

The first day of our stay, a worker from the county knocked on the door of the property to inform us that he was posting 3 Cease and Desist orders around the property. He informed us that the property DOES NOT comply with the county’s rental ordinance due to safety issues… wiring for the hot tub and pool and other issues.

Things that can be improved

CONS: - Master Bathroom drainage was clogged, so the water was going very very slow. Because of this, the floor of the bathroom was very slippery. I had to tell my parents to use the common bathroom as I was worried they would slip. - It had hard water. Usually, water is drinkable in the house but in this house the water was drinkable - The swimming Pool Filter was not circulating the water thus pool was not as clean - There were dead spiders and bugs in the basement so needs more cleaning. - House was for 16 people but the cutlery was very few. we had to buy disposable cutlery. PROS: - Alex, our host was amazing. He took our call though it was July 4th but still, he responded immediately - It was hot summer but AC's were great. We didn't feel hot at all. - Beds were comfy - There were many games to play - We had an amazing time in the hot tub. That was the highlight for us.

Great for a large group

We had great privacy and plenty of room for guests to sleep and hang out in the kitchen, dining room, and living room area. When we contacted the host he was quick to respond. We stayed in the winter time and the weather was bitter cold so we didn't get to enjoy the outside amenities as much as we thought we would or would have like to. It was nice to have the games for the kids and adults. Overall, we had a great experience.

Awesome stay!

I rented this property for my husbands birthday weekend. Overall, everything was great. So much to do in the house, outdoor area was clean and roomy, Comfortable large bedrooms and loads of sleeping space! Also super close to outdoor activities, like the casino and many restaurants.

Perfect for what we needed!

We rented this house for my daughters competition at Kalahari with a few other families. The location was perfect just 10 minutes away from Kalahari with many restaurants nearby. The backyard with a pool, as well as basement and game room really came in handy to keep the kids busy in between. Alex was very communicative and willing to help with whatever small issues we had.

Large group visit

We had a great time at this location! It is large to host a larger group, and there is lots to do inside the rental (i.g., games). And the host, Alex, was very communicative and available to reach out to when needed. Alex truly made the experience here comfortable!

Great host

The house was great- clean and had a lot to do. Basketball arcade game was the highlight for my family! There was no propane or firewood but Alex reimbursed us for our purchase of both. Overall, it was a lovely house with a great host.

Quiet in the Poconos

The house is beautiful with lots of space. It looks just like the pictures. The location was quiet and relaxing. My family really enjoyed all of the games and activities the house had to offer. The sun porch was a great place to relax. We enjoyed the hot tub but it was too cold to swim in the pool while we were there. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, plates, cups and utensils. There is a ShopRite and Aldi about 10 minutes away if you need anything. It’s a 30 minute drive to most places we wanted to check out. We highly recommend Bushkill Falls and Stroudsburg is a charming town. We took a day trip to Philadelphia which was about a 2 hour drive. The owner was very friendly and quick to respond although we had no issues during our stay. My 10 year old rated it a 9.5 out of 10 (only because the weather was too cold to swim)!

Cheer trip

Our team stayed here for a cheer competition held at Kalahari which is just a short drive away. Everyone enjoyed the game rooms, the hot tub, making s’mores, playing in the snow, and the overall space to enjoy and bond as a team.
