Really fantastic experience. Pricey, but not really if you look at the market. Check-In was easy. Check-out was simple (although I wish I could have just left instead of taking out the trash). Host was really communicative.

Great trip!

2 families of 4 in Chicago for the weekend and we had a great time. Place is big, quiet and very clean. Nice updated bathrooms. Only bummer was a parking ticket for not moving car for street cleaning —they apparently sneak signs onto the trees the night before. Our only bummer. We would stay here again!

Sorry to hear about your ticket, Troy! To clarify, the signs are put up by the city for street cleaning once every other month and ticket accordingly. They typically are up 2-3 days before street cleaning. Aside from that I’m glad you enjoyed your stay!

There were not televisions in every room as informed. Place was clean (except for appliances, oven). Was hoping that there would be coffee filters and some coffee as we arrived very late, but we left the filters for the next guests. Otherwise, place was stylish, conveniently located and bathrooms were amazing (minus no outlet in master bath, but plenty elsewhere).

Hi Helena, Thank you again for the helpful feedback, we really appreciate it and are glad you enjoyed the style, location, and bathrooms. Apologies for the missing items. We’re always happy to provide anything that may have been overlooked. We live nearby and could have dropped off coffee filters and coffee within minutes if we had known, so please never hesitate to reach out during future stays. We will make sure these are stocked going forward. For the master bathroom, there is a labeled extension cord that allows up to three devices to be plugged in for your convenience. We will make sure to clarify this in our listing so it is not missed in the future. We currently have two 55” TVs, one in the master bedroom and one in the living room. Thank you for the suggestion on adding TVs to the other guest rooms, we will definitely consider that. During future stays, whether with us or other hosts, communication is key and top notch hospitality is always our goal as hosts. Thanks again for staying with us and we hope you all had a safe trip home! Best, Alex

Oasis in the middle of Chicago

We (grandparents, parents, and child) thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was just as spacious as the photos show, and also surprisingly quiet. It was also, happily and unexpectedly, very close to the Field, Adler and Shedd, just a ten minute drive during midweek. We cooked one dinner and all our breakfasts at the apartment, which had all the utensils, pots n pans we needed. It did not have washcloths or hot pads, perhaps an oversight, but! communication with the host was super easy and within hours we had extras of both. We don't go to Chicago often, but we would stay here again. Highly recommend!

Thank you so much for the kind words! We’re so glad your whole family—grandparents, parents, and little one—had a great stay. It’s always nice to hear the space felt comfortable and quiet, and we love that you got to enjoy the museums nearby—we’re big fans of how close everything is too, from the Field to the Shedd to Soldier Field! Thanks also for the heads-up about the washcloths and hot pads—appreciate your patience, and we were happy to get those to you quickly. You were a joy to host, and we’d love to welcome you back anytime!

One of the most rewarding parts of hosting is creating a space where guests can truly feel at home—whether they’re here for a work assignment, a life transition, or just a well-deserved change of scenery. We’ve carefully designed this home to support real life on the road, blending comfort, functionality, and a touch of luxury for an elevated stay.

As parents of young kids, we deeply understand the needs of traveling families. From extra linens and spacious bedrooms to a quiet, restful atmosphere and a full kitchen for meals on your own schedule, our goal is to make family travel less stressful and more enjoyable. We’ve been there—and we know how valuable it is to have a reliable, welcoming place to land after a long day.

We also both work remotely, so we’ve outfitted the space with what we look for when we travel: high-speed Wi-Fi, multiple dedicated work-from-home areas, smart TVs, and reliable coffee setups to power through your workday. Whether you're logging in for meetings, juggling deadlines, or just want a productive corner to work from, this home was built with modern professionals in mind.

When we’re not hosting or working, we love exploring all that Chicago has to offer—checking out the city’s vibrant restaurant and bar scene, catching live music or comedy shows, and cheering on the Bulls, White Sox, and Bears when we can. It’s a city we love deeply and are always excited to share with others.

We’re just a message away throughout your stay, and we’re happy to offer recommendations or support however we can. Hospitality is something we take pride in, and we hope you’ll feel that from the moment you arrive.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

One of the things I love most about this neighborhood is how effortlessly it blends energy, charm, and convenience. Tucked between East Pilsen and University Village, this area is incredibly walkable, full of personality, and ideal for both short and extended stays. Just a few blocks from the condo, you’ll find an amazing variety of coffee shops, brunch spots, and some of Chicago’s most talked-about restaurants.

Some of our local favorites include:
• Kristoffer’s Café – cozy spot for coffee, pastries, and breakfast
• Pilsen Yards – vibrant atmosphere with great cocktails and Mexican-inspired dishes
• Pleasant House Pub – British-style pub known for savory pies and craft beer
• Yolinda’s Tamales – a no-frills gem serving handmade tamales
• HaiSous – Michelin-starred Vietnamese cuisine with bold, beautiful flavors
• Thalia Hall – historic venue for live music, comedy, and unforgettable performances

The neighborhood strikes a great balance—close enough to downtown for quick access, but far enough to enjoy a relaxed, residential feel. You’re just minutes from the West Loop, Chinatown, McCormick Place, and the lakefront. The area is also a hub for medical professionals and students, with UIC, Rush, and other major campuses nearby.

Transportation is another big plus. The CTA Pink Line, bus routes, and bike-friendly streets make getting around easy. Lake Michigan and the scenic lakefront trail are just a 10-minute bike ride away—perfect for outdoor lovers and commuters alike.

This location is effortlessly livable. Great food, vibrant culture, strong community vibes, and unbeatable access to the best of Chicago. I’m always excited to share this space with guests looking for a stylish, central, and welcoming home base.
