This is a great rental. This was our first day at Sandy Key condos, and I really like the low rise buildings with a big huge beachfront. The condo itself was clean and rental went very smoothly. It was exactly as they said it would be. The landscaping and pools are nice. The heated pool wasn’t quite warm enough for me in March, so I didn’t use the pool. All in all, a great rental.

Family trip

Was a perfect size. This would be a perfect vacation home for a family. Beautiful view from kitchen, living room, and master. Quiet floor. Neighbors were amazing.

Not Bad

Checking in was fine. Once we got to the condo we noticed a few things. One of the bathrooms was missing a towel rack for the hand towel and was also missing the toilet paper holder. The spare bedroom had a ceiling fan which was dirty and know way to cut the fan off because the chain was too short. The master bedroom fan blades were also dirty. Three of the electrical outlets only half of the outlet working.The dishwasher had several places where the silicone coating was gone with dark rust on those places. The last thing was the sliding door had a loose screw so the had was loose. I did call and let the company know about some of these issues. Over all it’s wasn’t terrible but it could have been better.

The property itself was pretty clean. Except, we did have to wash all the dishes and silverware before using them because everything we pulled out had dried food on it. The master shower drain, did not drain well at all and you were basically taking a shower and bath at the same time. We were definitely misled about the condo location and area. When we messaged the host (Perdido Realty) we were told the room was located in the building with the pool directly behind it, and the water clarity and color was the same as Destin. In fact, the condo is in building #1, which does NOT have a pool. And the water is NOT the same. We’ve been coming to FL for 19 years so I understand it’s not always perfect and clear. But this wasn’t close. I feel the property managers just told us what they could to fill the condo and get paid. They also allowed an inspector into our condo, alone, even though we didn’t feel comfortable having someone in there,
