Welcome to Ocean Mile J-7!

This charmingly rustic 1BR/1BA townhome, Ocean Mile # J-7 is your beach home away from home, decorated in natural woods and turquoise hues. As a pet-friendly property, up to 2 well-behaved dogs 50lbs or less are welcome (additional pet fee of $150 + tax and advance approval required).

Just left of the main entrance, the master bedroom offers a King sized bed with access onto a private balcony with views of the Gulf of Mexico and the Apalachicola Bay. The master bedroom also provides privacy from the main living room and a flat panel TV for your convenience. A full bathroom with tub/shower combination and linen closet is located just outside of the bedroom.

Downstairs you will find the main living area. The equipped kitchen has everything you'll need to prepare your fresh catch and offers a dedicated food storage panty. A dining table and additional bar stool seating offer plenty of room for a casual meal or can double as a workspace. A convenient washer/dryer is also available for your use.

A Queen sleeper sofa provides additional sleeping room for up to 2 additional guests when needed, with plenty of seating to accommodate everyone. A large, flat panel TV and DVD player will keep you entertained on any rainy days or break out a boardgame or beach read! A cozy electric fireplace adds to the rustic charm of the townhome. The poolside deck with high top table offers views of the community pool and the Gulf of Mexico waters.

A short 60-second walk will get your toes in the sand by way of the convenient community boardwalk. Additional community amenities include a grilling area with 4 park-style BBQ grills and two community pools with lounge chairs, tables and umbrellas.

The paved bike path is easily accessible from the 300 Ocean Mile townhome community and will lead you to the Island center where you can enjoy local gift shops and restaurants OR to the nearby Dr. Julian G. Bruce St. George Island State Park---a must see!!

Parking for up to 2 vehicles is available underneath the townhome and an initial set of stairs will take you to the front entrance of J-7.

This was our first visit to St George’s Island and it won’t be the last. We loved the location of the property and our dogs loved playing in the waves on the beach. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

Pet friendly

The condo had everything we needed. Perfect location if you want to be a beach bum. Loved that it was pet friendly. Definitely will keepthis on our short list of vacation spots.

All of the 5 star reviews were well stated and accurate. This is a fantastic place! It was clean, safe, great pool, right near beach, pets AND their owners were respectful (all dogs picked up after), so nice you don't want to give it a good review and be crowded out the next time. I already have reservation to bring family next year. Reservation process was simple.

Great Beach Property

This condo was everything we needed for our stay in St. George. Very comfy, clean, and very short walk down to the beach. The property managers were great also and very easy to communicate with. Highly recommend.

Was a great Vacay! Did find out that the batteries for ceiling fan were kaput, there was no cutting board, and the toilet refilled it's tank about every 25 minutes! A LOT of stairs. My calves were burning by the time I left.

Come back and see us Kat! We found the cutting board in the cabinet and the ceiling fan remote seemed to be working fine, but we appreciate the heads up on the running toilet. A new fill valve later and we're back in business! Hope to see you soon for your next stairwell workout ; )

My husband and I arrived July 24th-28th…From the beginning we experienced an issue with the code, that was supposed to have given us access inside but the code didn’t work. We ended up calling Forgotten Shores, and the individual with the company couldn’t help us, so the building manager had to come over (which took 10 minutes), we didn’t have to wait long but it was an inconvenience. Once inside we noticed the furniture (living room), was very stained and outdated. The “cleanliness” was superficial. I don’t believe they mop the floors just vacuum, and that goes for the main floor, where the bedroom and bathroom are located. I noticed the tub was yellowish (I thought it was age). However when we were at the store, I bought cleansers and it (tub) went from yellow to a dull white. The shower curtain (bottom), was black also, so I took care of that too. I believe that the cleaning crew must rinse and wipe down the tub. Similar to some cheap hotels. On the upside it was well equipped and conveniently located to the State Park. The complex was VERY QUIET which was a big surprise.

Hi Gabriella! We're glad to know you enjoyed your visit, and thank you for letting us know about the cleaning insufficiencies during your stay. Mopping is a standard requirement, as is cleaning the bathtub/showers, so if you ever find any issues, no matter how small, we would love to be able to resolve any issues during your stay. Regarding the keyless entry door code, we depend on these modern conveniences which can experience some issues every now and then, but fortunately our property inspector (not the building manager) was nearby to get you in asap. We did not note any further issues with your door code for the remainder of your stay. We're glad you were able to enjoy the location and amenities in spite of these things. We hope to be able to WOW you in the future!
