We had a wonderful stay at the Quiet Top-Floor Penthouse with Golf Course Views from January 25 through March 31, 2026. This three-bedroom condo was the perfect home base for our extended stay on the Big Island. The location in Waikoloa Beach Resort is fantastic—walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the beach, and an ideal base for exploring the entire island. It’s also a walker and runner’s dream, with sidewalks throughout the resort. I enjoyed a morning run every day!The condo was clean, comfortable, and very well stocked. The kitchen had everything we needed for our entire stay. We especially enjoyed the lanai overlooking the golf course, where we loved sitting and watching the golfers. The amenities were excellent, including a beautiful pool, open-air weight room, ample parking, and community gas grills. We made great use of the grills to prepare some of the fresh fish we purchased locally. The owner was wonderful to work with—very responsive and quick to address anything that came up. That made our long stay especially comfortable. We highly recommend this condo to anyone visiting the Big Island. The location, accommodations, amenities, and attentive owner made for a fantastic experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider returning!

Great place to stay with our young daughter and adult son - plenty of space for everyone! Location was very nice, we could walk to everything at the resort area but the condo was nice and quiet. We were thankful for the beach towels and beach accessories, and especially for the washer and dryer! Would definitely recommend this to anyone going to the Big Island. Thanks!

This property was absolutely perfect for us! The access to fun shops and tasty dining was fantastic. It was all close enough that we could send our older kids over to the markets on their own, which they loved. The property is close to many incredible beaches, which we can never get enough of! The property owner was very kind and super easy to work with. I would book this place again in a heartbeat.

Great Apartment and Location

Apartment was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. Location was very close to markets and beach. The patio had great views of mauna kea in the morning, and if you get lucky on a clear night you can see a good bit of stars. One note was that the wifi was spotty which made it difficult to work, but otherwise we had a fantastic stay.

Great place to stay

This is a great place in a great location. Plenty of room for our family of five. We stay at Fairway Villas every year and the loft units are the best for keeping all the kids happy.Talked with the owner several times as we are looking to buy eventually. Great wealth of information for us. If you like to watch the golfers hitting into the green, this is the perfect place. It sits above the green and the lanai is a great place to enjoy breakfast and watch the action. Definitely recommend this unit for families and large groups.

Nice condo in prime location with a beautiful view of golf course and mountains. Needs some minor repairs which didn't affect our stay at all. Gym and pool were great, and walking distance to shops, groceries and restaurants was a plus!

Hi Barbara, thank you for the review! We're really glad you enjoyed your stay. Thanks for letting us know about repair needs. We're working on the kitchen blinds (in transit) and the patio door handle (also in transit). Both had to be sourced from the mainland. Thank you again!

We live in Southern CA and visit The Big Island at least once per year. We'd definitely visit more, if possible! We first came to the Big Island around 2000 to visit the volcano and have been hooked ever since. We enjoy family vacations to the Big Island and love the beaches along the Kohala Coast, the snorkeling, horse riding adventures in the Waimea area, exploring Waipio Valley, visiting and hiking in Volcanos National Park, exploring ancient Hawaiian ruins and historical settlements, farmers markets, and much more!

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

We first stayed at the Fairway Villas in the early 2000's and had an amazing time that made us want to come back again and again. The best part is probably the location situated in between Queen's and King's Shops. You can walk to either in about 5 minutes. It's also a short walk to the beach (A-Bay). We appreciate that this development of off the main roads which offers more privacy and peace. We love the infinity pool which is now heated. The golf course and Kohala Mountains views are beautiful. The grounds are well maintained and beautiful. Our son and daughter love trying to catch geckos on the grounds and we love to hike the amazing petroglyphs which are right outside our condo.

この宿泊施設の特徴

We especially love versatility of the upstairs loft. Kids absolutely love it, too! It essentially makes our place a 3 bedroom unit vs. a 2 bedroom. We've outfitted the unit with beautiful tropical décor, quilts linens, etc. We provide higher thread count sheets. We are very excited and passionate about the Big Island and want to share that with our guests! We want you to enjoy your visit as much as we enjoy our visits!
