Arvada HideAway
Welcome to Arvada Colorado! This Modern and fully furnished 2 bedroom, lower level duplex unit is ideal for traveling professionals, explorers, and small groups looking for a chill and cozy stay! Located just minutes from Olde Town Arvada with restaurants, bars, and shopping, as well as quick access to I-70 for weekend getaways to the mountains, or easy access to downtown Denver, the Location is perfect!
The space
When arriving, the home has two free street parking spots in front of the house. Please let me know if you require a third spot prior to your stay.
To access your private guest suite, you will find your private entrance with a keypad on the right side of the home.
You will enter and immediately head down the stairs. Please use the handrail and enjoy the entry art on your way down!
The suite is about 1,642 square feet, including a full kitchen, 2 bedrooms (one king, one queen), a bathroom with a large shower, washer/dryer, living space with Roku guest TV, dining area, and dedicated workspace.
We have tried to outfit the space with everything you could need! We also have a QR code at the entry with a link to our guidebook with some of our favorite spots in the area, as well as a guide to the unit.
The kitchen includes a full-sized refrigerator, full-sized range microwave, toaster, and coffee bar. You will have everything you need to make whatever meal you want!
Please keep in mind that the unit is on the bottom floor of a 2-level duplex. We have taken measures to make the noise transfer minimal, but you may occasionally hear footsteps or noise. We also keep quiet hours from 10pm-8am to be respectful of our neighbors and the other residents of the property.
The HEATING system is shared between the two units and the temperature control will be controlled by the upstairs unit. We have ensured that the thermostat will stay between 68 and 72 degrees, during the colder seasons. PLEASE NOTE, there is no AC in this unit, but the basement unit is well insulated, however, if you are uncomfortable even with these measures, we are able to adjust further to be closer to your liking. We want you to have a 5-star stay!
Guest access
You will have full access to your private unit via keypad entry including all the spaces listed above! You will have access to a semiprivate patio, and shared access to the backyard.
Our home is a 5-minute drive to Olde Town Arvada. This gem is a charming spot with restaurants, bars and breweries, shopping, and more. We highly recommend checking it our during your stay - we have some specific recommendations in our guest book, and there is a lot to explore! This is also the nearest location for the Light Rail.
While there are some restaurants and pharmacies in walking distance, the overall location is pretty car dependent. To get around, we would recommend driving or ridesharing. There is also a bus stop just on the corner, or less than a 2-minute walk!
Other things to note:
There is a small dog named Nova on the property. She is extremely sweet and good with people, dogs, and kids. Nova can get a bit noisy but only if she is wanting attention, but is completely harmless and will warm up quickly. Especially if you have a ball to throw!
You may find her roaming around her favorite place - the backyard. Please be sure to close the gate on the side of the garage if you use it. She will not have access to any space in your suite - that is completely yours!
