We had ablast at this adorable home. We super appreciated the on site parking and stellar location to bars and restaurants. The front porch swing was an awesome vantage point as the night wound down. Beds were super comfy and the house was clean.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear the upstairs didn’t feel as cool as you had hoped during your stay. The home is equipped with two air conditioning units, and we also provide a fan that can be used to help circulate the cool air throughout the upper floor, which many guests find helpful during warmer weather. We appreciate you sharing your experience, as it helps us continue improving for future guests. We hope you still had an enjoyable stay and appreciate the opportunity to host you.

GREAT super clean house with all the amenities

Fun place, very clean, and as described. All positive except on the weekends when the Irish Bar across the street closes and all the loud drunks roll out into the street. We really enjoyed our stay.

Fun neighborhood, great location.

The house was perfect for our family. Comfortable and homey. Located close to plenty of cute shops and great dining. We highly recommend the pub, located directly across the street. Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium and the ferry to Vashon are also a quick 10 minute drive. We would be happy to stay here again.

Wedding stay

We were in town for a wedding at Chambers Bay Golf Club. Although it was a ways away from venue, we liked the neighborhood and it was super easy to get to and get around to everywhere we wanted. Lots of places to eat close by and was everything we needed. Shopping was close and we had no problems.

Perfect location and no surprises

Great location, super walkable. Tons of cafes, some of the best restaurants in this city. This VRBO has terrific beds with nice linens and the house flows. The two bathrooms were full bathrooms. Nice large kitchen was a plus. Everything was just as represented in the photos. If you have planned an active stay in Tacoma you will not find a better VRBO.

Nice Property for Adult Get Away

Very clean property with comfortable accommodations. Good setting for those looking for a weekend get away with friends or older family members. The house is located on a busy street with a bar next door, which caused the evenings to be a bit loud; light sleepers may want some ear plugs. With that said, it has off street parking and the main street I mentioned affords easy driving access to restaurants which are located on that road.

Really great place to stay with friends!

We had a great stay at this property! The house was really clean and the beds were comfortable. I loved how each room had its own heater so that each person could have the temperature they preferred while sleeping! It would have been nice if the back door also had a keyless entry since that is where we parked our car but it wasn’t the end of the world. Also, the street noise is a little loud at night but use a white noise machine and all is good! The host was super responsive and accommodating. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Family holiday

My family stayed here for a week to visit some folks in Tacoma over Christmas. It was a great house for grandparents, my sister, and my fam of 3. Everyone had their own space but we could hang out together also. It was spacious clean and airy. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms updated. The location was on a busy street (in a cool part of Tacoma) and sometimes it was a little noisy, but not enough to be super disruptive. The offstreet parking was great too.

Great location for Drinks, eats and things to See

The house is great for those needing three bedrooms. Lots of well utilized spaces for relaxing, eating, cooking and sleeping. Angela is very nice and helpful. The location is great for entertainment, but be aware that the house is right across the street from a busy late night bar. Lots of street noise until places close for the night. Really walkable restaurants and bars though, so that's the trade-off.

The house is really cute and well taken care of! It’s small but perfect as a home base if you’re out and about a lot. It has everything you need for a few days and the beds are very comfortable. There was a bit of an issue with accessing the parking area as a neighbour blocked the entrance and didn’t move the entire weekend, but the owner directed us to another spot. There’s a loud, popular bar across the street which wouldn’t be great if you have little kids trying to sleep, but it could be a plus for anyone looking for a fun place to hang out!

The house inside was very cute and worked fine. I would have to say that most of the area rugs were not clean. The bed upstairs was extremely comfortable.. what you don’t see on any of the pictures is the surrounding Neighborhood. It is on a very busy loud street. The bars across the street were loud until 2am! The actual driveway and parking area is off an alleyway. The house behind was very junky with 4 large Husky’s that were penned up in a small yard and would viciously bark whenever you walked by.We found a homeless persons bag in the side yard, the day we left. I would not stay there again.

Thank you for your feedback and for staying with us. We’re glad to hear you found the home cute and enjoyed the upstairs bed comfort. We’re sorry certain aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations. Cleanliness is very important to us, and we have since gone through the area rugs to properly clean them. We have also removed the well loved pan. As noted in our listing, the home is located in a lively area near local businesses and nightlife, which can occasionally result in street noise, especially on weekends. We understand that this environment may not be the right fit for every guest. We were also disappointed to hear about the discarded bag found outside and appreciate you bringing it to our attention. The neighboring properties and street activity are unfortunately outside of our control, but we always strive to provide a safe, comfortable, and welcoming stay for our guests. Thank you again for your feedback — it helps us continue improving the guest experience.
