Beautiful cabin style casita on five acres with private lake and creek

Located only 20 minutes from downtown Nashville on Setters Lake. It has a private 2-acre lake for swimming, kayaking, and paddle boating along with a dock and beach area. The lake house comes with an open pavilion area with an outdoor kitchen, living area, ping pong table, hot tub, and outdoor shower.

The private beautiful cabin style casita has 660 square feet of open space to the kitchen, living room, and bedroom with a bathroom including tub/shower combo. There is a private deck off the bedroom overlooking a bubbly creek. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to make yourself at home. There is a separate wifi access for the cabin.

This property is surrounded by nature and sits just adjacent to the main house. It backs up to 2700 acres of hiking trails with 3 trailheads and a nature center.

You will not find anything like this in all of Nashville. Enjoy the city life and honky tonks then come back to relax and retreat. It’s guaranteed to be a most memorable and relaxing vacation to remember!

We loved it here!

This is the type of place you booked because it was close to the stuff you want to do (Grand Ole Opry, downtown Nashville, birdwatching spots, etc.), but it was so wonderful, you are now considering rebooking because the location itself is worthy of another visit. Thank you!

Relaxation at its Finest

We absolutely loved this quiet, peaceful stay! The sounds of the rushing River and the beauty surrounding this property were just what we needed to escape the busyness of everyday life. We can’t wait to come back again.

The property is breathtaking with its babbling brooks, pond and lovely grounds. I would recommend this place as a getaway to recharge. The nearby preserve was easy to get too and had easy trails to enjoy. I would rebook this place.

Balm for the soul

Jennifer's place is an absolute gem with close proximity and an easy drive to Nashville. We loved the serenity and privacy of the property--it's even more beautiful than the listing photos. The creekside hot tub was pure bliss, and the cabin included everything we needed plus some special, thoughtful touches. Jennifer was responsive and kind and very respectful of our privacy. Pictures don’t do it justice

One of the most relaxing trips we have ever had! The pictures of everything are like nothing in real life. Everything was amazing and we can not wait to come back. Also the dog is the sweetest ever!

A quiet retreat

It was so quiet and cozy. Big medicine was just what my husband and I needed after a long day. Our hostess was kind and communicated often. It was nice having a full working kitchen. Its close to so much. It was clean and had all the creature comforts.10 out of 10 rating and I would stay again.

The cabin is 30 minutes from downtown Nashville. Very good from my perspective for relaxation! The cabin could and should have been significantly cleaner. The frige should have been empty upon our arrival. But the firge had a lot of old food much of which was out of date. The rugs, throw pillows in and out, cabinets, top of firge were not nearly as clean as a VRBO guest could and should expect. The bathroom barn doors did not close completely

Peaceful and Relaxing

A very private and peaceful getaway on the outskirts of Nashville. All the amenities of home and then some are included. If you are looking for peace and serenity, I would highly recommend this place. The property is well maintained and clean inside and out. Anniversary trip

Very lovely property just outside of Nashville. Peace and quiet of the country but close enough to city life! Hostess was amazing and the property met all expectations from the photos and description. Well worth the stay and would recommend it to everyone.

Tranquility

My husband and I could’ve spent the entire trip here but because we were in Nashville, you do have to explore. Every morning we would eat our breakfast out on the pavilion and enjoy the fabulous view of the lake and the tranquil ambiance, including the heron and beautiful flowers with magnificent landscape. The cottage was in pristine condition and extremely country and cozy like and Jennifer made sure we had just about everything we needed. We look forward to going back when we visit Nashville in the future. Thank you again for a wonderful stay!!!! Kim and Jimmy
