Great location, nicely decorated, clean, with excellent 5 star reviews, so you know exactly what to expect in this privately owned and operated condo! Condo 1411 was newly added to VRBO in 2023 peak season and is owned and operated by the same owners as penthouse 1512 (on VRBO since 2020, with many excellent 5 star reviews).
Condo 1411 is a spacious 2 bedroom 2 bath direct oceanfront condo on the family friendly Garden City Beach, SC, located in the seafood capital of Murrells Inlet. Sitting on the beautiful Atlantic Ocean coastline, just south of the popular Myrtle Beach Grand Strand, our 15 floor concrete and steel building (painted in shades of blue) is within walking distance of all the fun offered at the Garden City Pier and Atlantic Avenue attractions. The Surfside Pier and restaurants are just to our north, also considered walking distance to some visitors. Convenience is essential on vacation, and check-in is easy with a keypad door lock code assigned to you, so no keys and management desk to deal with on arrival or checking out. Just go straight to your condo and enjoy! Please note that this unit is non-smoking and no pets allowed per HOA regulations, smoking area designated on site.
The breathtaking panoramic views from this unit on the 14th floor will spoil you! From the moment you step off of the elevator onto the entry walkway and see the inlet view, to the outstanding oceanfront balcony views from the living room, you will be mesmerized as you relax to the sounds and sights of the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. Set your alarm for the gorgeous sun and moon rises over the ocean and spectacular inlet sunsets, and get your camera and favorite beverage ready! Enjoy our large private balcony, furnished with sturdy bar height resin furniture and a chaise lounge chair for relaxation and sunbathing. Pelicans, seagulls, pigeons, and Bald Eagles fly by the balconies, sometimes with their catch of the day. Turtles, dolphins, sharks, stingrays, schools of fish, and even whales can sometimes be seen in the ocean below. You will love seeing along the coastline in all directions! If you're lucky, you may even get to witness the incredible trails left behind from the Space X rocket launches as they pass directly in front of our balcony views! We recommend bringing a pair of binoculars.
This fully equipped 1150 sq ft condo easily sleeps 7 guests and allows you to enjoy your vacation with conveniences of home. All linens are provided for your stay (even beach towels), so you have less to pack! Don't worry, our housekeeper keeps our condos clean--see our many 5 star reviews for condos 1411 and 1512! You will arrive to find sheets freshly laundered and folded on the end of your bed. Towels and extra sheets can be found in the bedroom closet and laundry closet. Full size washer and dryer are inside the condo and vented to the outside of the building. You are welcome to use them to keep your laundry fresh during your stay. The kitchen is well stocked, has all main appliances, and you will find both a Keurig for your favorite K-cups and a standard ground coffee maker. There is a large dining room table and kitchen bar area for eating and family game night, with some games kept in the condo for fun. The flat screen TVs furnished in living room and bedrooms have a nice cable package, and personal wireless high speed internet is provided with the private password located on the refrigerator. We have central heat and air, and an electric fireplace that can also be used for heat. Adjust and manage your comfortable air flow with ceiling fans in all rooms. Two bedrooms (king and queen), spacious living room with queen sleeper sofa, and a rollaway cot help provide sleeping space for up to 7 guests. Full-size closets and plenty of drawer space are provided for your clothes if you like to unpack during your stay. Two full baths in the condo, both with tub/shower, plenty of space, and exhaust fans vented to the outside of the building. Handicap shower chair in the closet. The main entry door has a safety chain and peephole with deadbolt, and there are locks on all inner doors and balcony sliding door. Some beach supplies are provided for your convenience in the bedroom closets such as beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, boogie boards, cooler, etc. Seasonal chair/umbrella rentals are also available (at your cost) from the life guards stationed on our beach. Handicap beach wheelchairs are FREE and available for reservation ahead of time.
Our oceanfront amenities at Water's Edge Resort are fabulous and were completely rebuilt in 2023 and 2024. We have an indoor pool (heated in winter and with handicap access chair) that is connected to our outdoor pool, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, and two fitness rooms--all kept very clean and available for your use from 8am to midnight, open year-round. Armband passes are included and required for your use of the amenities on site. A gift shop, a seasonal restaurant/grill, and Rising Tides bar/lounge are on site on our lowest parking lot level (LL). The resort has two elevators servicing all floors as quickly as possible, nearly completely rebuilt/modernized over 2023-2024 winter season. One car pass is provided and required for use of attached parking garage. You will find shopping carts and luggage carts on each parking deck floor near the elevators to assist with getting your items to and from the condo. Please do not take the carts in the condo and do return to the parking floors after use. Security cameras and contracted security staff (with hours that vary seasonally) are on site to help with safety, privacy of our amenities, and any incidents that need reported.
Garden City Beach is the perfect place to stay for family fun or business, whether arriving by car or by plane at our Myrtle Beach International Airport! There are over 100 nearby golf courses, the convention center, varieties of shopping, fine dining, casual dining, entertainment theaters, live music, water parks, amusement parks, miniature golf, arcades, the boardwalk, baseball games, water sports, fishing, bowling, dancing, and many other adventures await. Broadway at the Beach, the Sky Wheel, Ripley's Aquarium and Believe It or Not Museum, Medieval Times, Legends in Concert, Polynesian Fire, Hollywood Wax Museum, Barefoot Landing, Tanger Outlets, historical sites, gardens, parks, etc....all nearby. The Grand Strand is packed with festivals and events throughout the year. The Garden City Pier is only a short walk away and is free to access, providing loads of fun and entertainment for all ages. The private owners/operators of the bar, gift shop, and cafe downstairs have their own hours of operation and schedules and are not guaranteed during your stay. An Emergency issued by state or federal government that requires an evacuation of the immediate area qualifies as a refund for any remaining nights, such as during hurricane season, and without penalty. Tropical storms that do not result in evacuations do not qualify for refunds, sorry, but they do sometimes make wonderous events to witness. Please notify us of any leaks or maintenance issues in our unit 1512 so we can repair them immediately. Thank you!
