A fisherman's delight and a true rustic mountain homestead, welcome to A Sweet Retreat!



Come and take on the great outdoors at this angler's paradise! A Sweet Retreat is a modest, vintage-style log home equipt with all your fishing needs!







This cozy home offers two bedrooms, perfect for a small family, or a guy's weekend away to reel in some trout!



A Sweet Retreat is located ON Little Fightingtown Creek, known for excellent trout fishing, and doesn't get much better than casting from your back deck!







Take a break from the cool water streams and venture out to downtown Blue Ridge! It's an eclectic trove of shops, eateries, parks, trains, and Georgia history! A short drive in any direction will take you to cascading waterfalls, hiking trails, wineries, and magnificent mountain scenery.







This cabin is for the ultimate outdoorsman and crew! Bring them along and get ready for adventure in your own backyard at A Sweet Retreat!



 



A Sweet Retreat  is a rustic 2 bedroom, 1 bath Creekside cabin that sleeps 4 people and offers the following:



Queen Bedroom in open loft with 32' Roku TV

Queen Bedroom on the main level with 22' Roku TV

Full bath on the main with tub/shower combo

Great Room with 50' Roku TV, Wood burning Fireplace (a starter bundle of firewood provided Oct. 1st - April 1st )

Dinette with seating for 4

Washer and Dryer

Hot Tub

Fire Pit (firewood not provided)

All of our cabin rentals are fully furnished and include a minimum of the following unless otherwise stated in the listing:







Fully equipped kitchen: Refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave,  toaster, coffee maker, dishes, glassware, utensils, cutlery, pots, and pans. Linens for each bed, 2-bath towels, 1-hand towel, 1 washcloth per person listed on the guest list, dresser or closet for clothing storage, central heat & air, washer/dryer, vacuum and/or broom and dustpan, mop, internet, and propane gas grill. In addition, we provide a complimentary start-up supply of Toilet Tissue (1 roll per bathroom), 1- roll of paper towels, 4- kitchen garbage bags, dishwashing liquid, and laundry detergent for at least 2 loads. Many of our cabins include more than this basic list of inventory items. The only items you'll need to bring will be food, beverages, and condiments.







Required Fees include a $105 Cleaning fee, a $65 Damage Protection Waiver, a processing fee, a guest service fee, and a 13% lodging tax

This was our 2nd stay, we have a 3rd planned, and I expect we'll do more! We love this cabin. It is in a great location not too far from town, but nestled cozily by a stream. It's easy to leave your worries at the end of the driveway and just relax. The rental process is so smooth you barely get time to work with the friendly voices on the other end of the phone. The team has always been nice and helpful.

Everything was good other than 2 things. The back door leading to the deck was extremely hard to open, close, and lock. The cookware was horrible, the pans are so worn they were unusable. We got by but just some feed back. Everything else was awesome!

The only thing I would change is the bed nearest the deck with the green head board ajd foot board that is made out of old doors, needs a new mattress and box spring. When you lay down you quickly roll to a dip in the center of the mattress and when the 2nd person lays down they do as well. The box spring is squeaky as well. A memory foam mattress would be something good to consider with as much as it stays rented out. May not be a bad idea to consider a medium to firm mattress as well for the ones that a soft mattress hurts their back. The other bed had a soft mattress as well so it would give guest a choice according to what their needs are. Overall we absolutely loved the cabin and enjoyed our stay and are already talking about booking again for next year. It was very pleasant.

When we filled out the required paperwork online, it never sent to the rental company. The team member agreed the website didn't work well.

THIS CABIN IS THE BEST!!!! The cabin was AWESOME! We LOVED sitting on the back porch listing to the creek and watching the wildlife (we saw MANY deer, birds and a beaver!). When we weren’t creekside, we were cozy by the fire! This cabin WILL NOT disappoint! If you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful, nature filled vacation, THIS IS THE PLACE! “Town” is not to far away either! Lots of activities that you can do! Train ride, put put golf and Circle Js restaurant was our favorite! WE WILL BE BACK!!! Too bad we can only give 5 stars!!!
