This cottage worked out well for our reunion of friends! Lots of beds, 2 bathroomss, a large living room, and a comfortable porch gave us plenty of space to gather. Cottage was well-supplied with linens, utensils, beach toys, etc. Owner was easy to reach and solved our issues quickly when we ran into a couple hiccups. Location is wonderful...just a few blocks from the beach, the pier, and downtown shops and restaurants.

Everything you need for a comfortable stay

We spent four days over Thanksgiving with our six young adult children. The beds are comfy, the kitchen has everything you need, the sectional is awesome and the dining room table is big. The location cannot be beat. Highly recommend.

August summer trip with family and friends

Overall great property for families and friends. We loved the location to downtown and South Beach. The house was perfect for a family and friends to relax. The house was well stocked with all the amenities needed for a relaxing week! Clean, beds were comfortable. Owners were quick to respond to questions. Would recommend

Perfect In-Town Beach Retreat for a Large Group

The house was perfectly located 2-3 blocks to the beach and 2-3 blocks to town in South Haven, MI. Beach, parks, restaurants, stores, coffee shops were all within a short walk. It has all the modern amenities (minus a dishwasher) including a washer and dryer which really came in handy. There were even beach toys available for use. Great for families and large groups. It was even better than the description and clean and well-maintained. I would recommend this house to a friend!

Perfect house for 2 families

This house was absolutely perfect for us. We traveled with another family and had 5 kids 4 and under there. They had extra toys for our kids a great backyard to grill and hang out in, and the kitchen had all the essentials and utensils we needed to prepare our meals. And the location was amazing being within an easy walk of the town and ice cream. And also so close to the beach and the harbor to look at boats. I can’t recommend d both south have. And this house enough

Great Home, Wonderful Location, First Impressions are Everything

The home is beautiful with PLENTY of room for large families. The enclosed wrap-around porch was great for our family having small children. The owner of the property was great to deal with and his handy man was very attentive to our needs. The washer quit working on the 2nd day into our trip. The owner made it right by paying for Laundromat service; pick up and drop off. It was a bit inconvenient - with 3 small children. The location of the home was great for going downtown or to the beach.

Perfect space and location to experience South Haven!

Our family vacation in South Haven was exactly what I wanted it to be! My husband and I haven’t taken a vacation without it being built around sports or business in a very long time and wanted to include my parents and this home was perfect for all of us! Enough room to spread out, very quiet so the young adults weren’t disturbed by the older adults getting up early in the morning and cozy enough for all of us to gather on the couch together and watch a movie. This location is PERFECTLY situated between the lake and the most adorable downtown! We enjoyed meals at Black River Tavern, Kitchen 527, Venezia and Clementine’s. We loved listening to live music at the Harbor Light Brewery and really enjoyed their cider. The wine tasting at Gravity and 12 Corner Vineyards was so much fun. And the shopping was wonderful at all of the unique spots. All of this was within walking distance and we really enjoyed the walks to and from with the whole family. So many generations unplugged from their electronics, walking and talking together….it was a dream for me! Our rescue puppy, Tilly Mae, really enjoyed the space, the great walks along the trails and along the water and really loved her visit to Decadent Dogs. Overall it was a wonderful trip, we enjoyed the home, the access to so much of South Haven within walking distance and the areas around like Fennville, Holland, Saugatuck and St. Joseph. We look forward to coming back next year!

Second time to enjoy this house with family. Many welcome improvements added to the stay. Weather was poor but it was a great time anyway. Plenty room for everyone.

Perfect summer week

Clean and well equipped. And so close to downtown and South Breach. And pet friendly (Max gives it 5 stars as well!). A perfect rental. Will be back.

Perfect Location

We had never been to South Haven so had to trust previous reviews about this house being in a great location. I'm glad we did! We were a 5 minute walk to water and a 5 minute walk to the restaurants and ice cream shops. The house was very comfortable and EXTREMELY well stocked with kitchen supplies, extra towels, random kids toys, etc. The owners were very easy to work with and quick to respond to the few texts we sent with questions. Overall, we had a fantastic experience.

Great vacation house

We needed a place for a weeklong get together for our family of 10 and this was perfect. I've never been in a rental property that was as well stocked as this one. The location was excellent with the beach, the riverwalk, and town easily accessible on foot. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. There were no problems or issues with the facilities. Highly recommended.

Great location, lots of room

Very close to town and beach. House had everything to cook and also chairs and boogie boards for the beach. Two full baths with lots of towels. Great enclosed porch that is great for sitting out at night. We used the grill and also fire pit for s’mores. Very quiet neighborhood. Would definitely book again!

Perfect

This was our 3rd year at this property. We absolutely love it. Located close to town and the beach. Clean and well maintained. Each year we have been back there has been updates. My very favorite thing about the house, in addition to two bathrooms lol, is the wrap around porch! It is the perfect spot for lounging and napping! Rob is also really easy to work with.

Plenty of Room

When you have eight adults and six kids all stay in a house for a week you want to make sure you have plenty of room to enjoy each other but also have someplace to spend some personal time for reflection and relaxation. This place has it and it's within walking distance to town, the beach and the lighthouse. Our second time at this property and I'd book it again!

Perfect for a large family, with furry family members too!

We really enjoy staying here. It is well kept. The owner is great to work with. We are able to bring our furry family members. This has been a blessing as our family continues to grown with boyfriends, girlfriends, etc...we have 4 teenage boys and a 23 year old daughter. We outgrew our previous 2 bedroom rental and new owners wouldn't allow pets. We are so thankful to have found this gem.
