Cute & Cozy Cabin in Black Butte Ranch

Welcome to Ridge Cabin 8! This cute cabin offers three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Downstairs you will find a well equipped kitchen and comfortable living room with a wood burning fire place. There are two bedrooms downstairs, the first has a bunk bed with a full bed on bottom and twin on top, and the second bedroom has a queen bed. Upstairs in the loft there is a queen bedroom and a private bathroom. There are two mini split air conditioners in the cabin, one upstairs in the loft an the other in the living room.
There is seating for 6 on the back deck and a propane BBQ for your use.

This cabin is the perfect getaway for a weekend of skiing, hiking, and enjoying all the amenities Black Butte Ranch has to offer.

Cancellation Policy: 100% of paid prepayments will be refundable less a $100.00 administration fee if cancellation is received 45 days prior to your arrival date. There will be no refunds after 45 days prior to your arrival date.

As of January 1st, 2026: Black Butte Ranch charges a guest access fee equal to 13.5% of the nightly rate for full access to pools, tennis courts, bike paths and Ranch facilities. This amount is paid at the time of booking, and will be paid to Black Butte Ranch on your behalf.

Another perfect week!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to the ranch every summer for over 20 years. This was a lovely home- very well stocked and very comfortable. Excellent kitchen. Good location in the center of the ranch and close to rec center, pools, tennis, etc.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It advertises cable TV, but there is not. I had to wash all the towels because they did a smell good. Additionally, different eating venues that had advertised being available were not at various times, and there was limited availability to get two spots.

I could not use the television at the home to watch the Olympics! I called the property manager who said she would speak to the owner and get the cable bill paid. She said she would get back to me. She never did. I tried to call her twice more. No answers to my messages. Really disappointing that Olympic week.

BBR is a great property; the rental not so much

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had high hopes and expectations for the first ever (and to be annual) Grandpa Camp with the two youngest grandsons. The cabin is well located.Hot water is plentiful. However, we could and did write our initials in the dust.. There was a large rolled up carpet in one of the bedrooms on the first floor. The second floor toilet leaked all over the floor when flushed. Window screens are missing or torn. While sleeping seven, it seats 4-3 comfortably inside. There is no place to enjoy a meal together except on the deck. The split units that provide AC were broken (a portable was brought in). There is a serious lack of lighting in bedrooms. Other guests clothing was left in wardrobes and drawers.

Ridge cabin 8 was perfect for our little group. We've stayed in a different ridge cabin in the past so we're familiar with the location and it's easy to get to Glaze Meadow pool or South Meadow pool. Communication was very easy and check in was smooth. The property management company pre-registered me at the ranch so getting my gate pass was easy too, and I was able to call the ranch and add my mom to the registration too. The only thing we had to notify the company about was that the fridge was losing steam - it wasn't keeping things cold. But that's a matter of fixing or replacing it so it doesn't lower my star rating. My bed was comfy and the bathrooms were nicely stocked with shower essentials and lotion. For Black Butte Ranch, this cabin is one of the most economical options that still includes all the resort amenities.
