Cannot Recommend; Safety and other issues.
Not as advertised! Security/Safety: no lock on primary patio door to backyard; only a stick. No working underwater pool or spa lights (CA state violation). Hidden pool/spa heating fees: not present in listing but only made available UPON arrival so you are forced to pay more. Poor maintenance: casita shower drain overflowed first night. Primary suite shower also clogged. Had to clean out both ourselves. Problems with kitchen sink which needed plumber. Garage door motor not attached properly to ceiling and falling off posing a danger to cars, bikes and people. Folding door to backyard improperly installed and not usable. Host didn’t take responsibility and blamed cleaners, past guests then us. Spa jets did not work for first 15 days. Pool had E05 error and needed heat sensor changed. We asked for a partial pool heating refund for the days pool/spa was not useable and host responded by sending us invoice for additional pool heating costs. Host also submitted a claim with our insurance for pool and plumbing even though he knew it was an issue before we came. Reported to VRBO and insurance. Have photos and video of all.
