Perfect Getaway

Great house for large groups

We stayed here for a high school state competition. The house had lots of room for us and allowed us to bond as a team.

Great spot

The house was perfect for 10 guys going to Spring Training games and hanging out in between! The drive to Peoria Sports Complex was 10 minutes and within a 5-minute walk there are restaurants, coffee shop and a grocery store. The neighborhood is nice and there was space to sleep for all. Finally, Michael is responsive to any questions or concerns our group had.

Home run in Peoria

This house worked out very well for our group. It was close to restaurants, a big grocery store, and the local Spring Training complexes. Communication with the host was excellent as our questions were always answered right away. Backyard area was great! The kids in our group had fun in the pool and enjoyed the game room.

Family thanksgiving stY

The yard and game room was enjoyed by all. The house worked for our group. We did have to purchase towels to use by the pool and some additional kitchen items sinse we were a large group. But I er allthe house had everything we needed

Inaccurate listing

The listing said heated pool. 12 hours before our arrival the host messaged me saying it would be an additional charge if we wanted the pool heated. I commented saying the listing had indicated it included a heated pool--his response was it included solar heating (by the sun, hahaha), but if we wanted it heated by propane it was an extra charge. Fridge smelled like rotten food. Other than these two items the property was nice and we enjoyed our stay.

We appreciate you taking the time to provide feedback on your recent stay at our property. We apologize for any confusion regarding the pool heating situation. Our listing does specify that the pool is heated through solar heating, which we provide for free all year round and then supplement with propane-heater during the winter for $59, and we regret any miscommunication on our part. As for the issue with the fridge odor, we understand you were not very happy with the heated pool and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused during your stay, but retaliating by been dishonest on your review is not morally correct or a good representation of you. We take huge pride on providing a very clean space for our guests and our past reviews speaks loudly on that. Our team will kept doing our best to maintain that high standard. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the rest of your stay and found the property to be nice. We appreciate your kind words and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future.
