Hidden gem just miles from the German town of Helen, Ga. 4 bedroom 3 bath cabin, fully equiped. Big family space with
big game room and outdoor space with a cozy hot tub for cold nights. 2 bbq grills and relaxing patio furniture. Just minutes from Unicoi State Park and Helen tubing! Hiking, waterfalls, zip lining and great resturants minutes away. Cabin is 1 hr from Blueridge, ga, 1 hr from Murphy, NC.
Driveway is steep, we have pot holes. drive slow and get to your adventure at the top of the mountian.

The cabin is beautiful and clean.The kids enjoyed the games and pool table.The hot tub was nice.The cabin was in a great location and secluded.The driveway is a little challenging but only for those who are challenged.We had a great Thanksgiving with the family.Fully stocked necessities.Thanks

Great location, very peaceful. We had fun but we were bummed that the arcade game box hanging on the wall did not work. There is no foosball table as shown in photos, but instead a pool table. The room with the bunk beds does not have a futon, it contains another full or queen sized bed, can't remember which. Don't click the "get directions" button in this listing if you book. It takes you to the neighbor's house instead. Listing has no check in/check out instructions (says they'll be emailed by owner). Well, there's one laminated sheet of checkout instructions on the side of the cabinet that states you need to "take trash 3 miles down road to Vacasa". If I had known that ahead of time, plus the broken arcade game and pool table/foosball switch, I wouldn't have booked this listing for our group. They do provide ample shampoo/conditioner/body wash and there were plenty of plates and cups. Knife block seemed newer as knives were actually sharp.

I really love the cabin and plenty of space for parking. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the space and kitchen and endless covered porches on this property. The hot club was first class and there was rain while we were out there which makes a great sound on the roof. You are alone in the woods with maximum privacy, ideal for small groups of large families.

Property was not set up for us. Called Shannon to get code for door since it was not sent to me and she said she got the day confused thought it was wed. The patio seating was full of animal fecas. Fireplace didnt work, ran out of propane day 2 and had to unhook from firepit table and put on grill that was definately not cleaned. Had a grease fire 1st use and had to clean before using. Spider webs and spiders all over deck. One wall on bottom level had no power so couldnt use radio or gaming system. Called shannon and she said she would send somebody but they never showed. Rest of cabin was fantastic, used verbo several times but after this experience will probably try somewhere else.

We really enjoyed the house. There was plenty of room for al 15 of us. The kids enjoyed the bottom level for their activities and the adults enjoyed the main level and the porches. The only thing we had a little problem with was the driveway was a bit rough getting down in places.

Family Vacation

The house was very clean. It was close to everything we wanted to do . The use of space in the house was very good. The driveway is steep with a few potholes, but we did make it up fine with our SUV .

Disappointed

First, the drive was not well marked and gps took us to the incorrect drive. The driveway is very steep up and down. I drive a front wheel drive suv and it slipped so much I had to back down and get a running start. Potholes are huge. It rained the first night, so the the next day going out of the drive, trying to go up the steep drive while avoiding a huge pothole, I got stuck and had to hire a tow truck to get me out. We had already paid for another night, so I just had to go faster and through the pothole when we returned. It was very stressful, 4 women trying to deal with all this. The ice maker didn't work and I had to drive 12 miles to get ice. I contacted the owner nicely and with explicit details, and only received a smart answer telling me to stay in a hotel next time. No offer of apology and to help with my tow bill, which I sent her a copy of. I would suggest you have 4 wheel drive if you want to stay here. Even the tow truck company agreed that the owner should cover the charges. The beds creaked and kept some of the guests awake. Needless to say I will never stay here again and would never recommend it.

2025 Trout Trip with GHC

There was plenty of room. Appliances all work well. Pots and pans above average. More blankets for the beds would have been nice, but this was my 2nd year in a row at this cabin. I look forward to next year.

Beautiful Cabin

Our stay was amazing. Very close to Helen, GA. The host was very responsive. The driveway to the cabin was a bit challenging. It would be best to have an All-wheel drive or a 4x4. We enjoy every bit of our stay.

Let me start by saying it was an experience before we even arrived at the cabin. The road to get to the cabin had me at that wow factor. It was definitely an amusement ride experience. Great stay

Me and my family had a great time. This cabin had plenty of room for my family. It did snow and the driveway was very steep and challenging in the snow and ice. If my nephew didn’t have a jeep we would still be there. The dishwasher didn’t work (bummer), but other than that we all had an awesome time.

Great place to stay!

The cabin has all the supplies you need with many games available. They had it all decorated for Christmas. Nice fireplace and fire pit. Clean and working hot tub. It is a steep entrance, but I made it easily with my 4 wheel drive and my son made it with his minivan. We enjoyed our stay very much! Great place to stay!

Great cabin overall!! Would stay again!!! The drive is steep but if you have a 4x4 it’s no problem. The driveway did not stop us from coming and going as much as we wanted. Perfect getaway!! Amazing cabin for big family with kids.
