Avoid this property! Unmaintained, not guest-ready, and on a busy road. I spent my vacation managing repairs and getting items replaced instead of relaxing. We arrived to a dead, smelly rat by the pool. A gas leak made sitting next to the pool unpleasant and dangerous. The debris in the pool was challenging to remove with the skimmer net full of holes. The hot tub was useless, as the controls were on an inoperable locked iPad within the house. The grill was filthy with a broken ignitor and a brush shedding metal fiber. Filthy outdoor dining furniture. House in disrepair with ants and bugs. The main shower so clogged it flooded the bathroom. A towel rack and light hung off the wall. Bathroom door was inoperable. Bedrooms and bathrooms had slatted doors - you see and hear everything! Adjacent Cabana needs to be rented at additional cost or you’ll have zero privacy. The host declined a partial refund, calling these "minor" Florida issues- blamed previous renters for the poor maintenance.

Fun family time

Positive. Great location, size. Beautiful kitchen. Pool was just ok. A lap pool. Controller for spa needed service but property management worked very hard to accommodate us! Kudos!

Great value and the house is pretty new. Close to the wigging. the supplies are OK. Maybe I suggest adding an Umbrella for the beach. The communication with Sorrento V Rental was perfect! Super cordial and respond quickly. We will return shortly,

We have rented luxury homes through VRBO for ten years and this was the worst experience we have ever encountered. No heat , one blanket for 5 bedrooms when we arrived. It was fixed the next day. No hot water in the master bathroom , not fixed for 5 days. All doors are louvered so effectively no privacy for bathrooms or bedrooms. Hot tub didn’t work and pool leaks water daily. I will only rent directly with owners going forward.

Nice house

This house and cabana was perfect for our group. We had a short stay, but the house way very clean and in great shape. We have zero complaints and applaud the company for keeping a very high standard. We will definitely rent here again! Highly recommend this place.

Sorrento vacation rental

If you don't need wifi or ice, this place s for you. Wifi is sporadic at best and the ice maker doesn't make ice. HULU is the only tv service available and it is very sporadic as well. The hot tub is merely a section of the pool. Even with a heated pool, the hot tub is not hot. All bedroom and bathroom doors are louvered which significantly reduces privacy. Well appointed kitchen, everything you need. Plenty of room for eight couples to congregate, eat, and socialize. Jets in hot tub not working. Groceries, restaurants and beach all convenient.

A week at Sorrento

The house was well equipped and had a good floor plan. The louvered doors are a problem, no privacy snd sound carries. I would suggest lower wattage light bulbs to prevent glare and conserve energy. Great proximity to delnor Wiggins.

Golf and Beach Winter Getaway

Wonderful, clean property in great location! Pool was warm and fun although small. We traveled with 5 couples. Two had to share a bathroom but having 4 bathrooms was wonderful and better than a lot of other properties. The kitchen was fully stocked and lots of beach chairs available. Only improvement needed is to put screened doors on the sliding doors for the bugs. We wanted more fresh air. Would definitely stay there again. We had a lovely time and the property managers were amazing and very quick to respond.

Nice place but pool heater was broke

The pictures are nicer then actual. The towels were sub-par, not enough blankets and sheets when your paying this much money you should have extra items there. The pool heater did not work, they tried to fix it and got it working for about 1 day before it broke again. I would had expected a full refund on a pool heating charge since it didn’t heat for the week, but they prorated out the one day. It might be the policy, but the policy is not good, they should have refunded considering we only picked the house because it had a pool with a heater. It’s close to the beach and shopping. I would say again.

This is a great house in a great location.

Sorrento House

The Sorrento Beach House has been renovated and looks nothing like the video on your website. That said, it is very nice. There are now six bedrooms (including the cabana). Two of the upstairs rooms share a bath, all the others have their own. We were unable to use the spa because of inadequate internet signal. In general the internet was not good. Also, unfortunately a transformer behind the house blew midweek, hurting the pool pump system. Hopefully that will be fixed.

Contact was great in preparation and as we arrived at the property. Minor issues were corrected very quickly. House was great and there were a number of items in the garage we could use for the beach.

Great stay!

Location was excellent...place was super clean....and everything was in fantastic working order. Pool was small, but well maintained and great spot to cool off. Listing didn't mention it, but 5th bedroom is actually really private and has it's own entrance....very cool little wrinkle that I think they exaggerate! We had an excellent stay and will be back for sure.

Great place for flexible folks

We have a big family and we rent all the time. Generally, the property was better than average cleanliness and had good beds / linens. Its a tight lot on a busy road, but very quite inside. Small pool and small yard but less than a 15 minute walk to a nice beach. They even supplied towels and pool chairs. Not a prefect relaxation place - but we would absolutely stay there again when traveling with our large group.
