I booked ahead of time and when I was checking in, the front desk told me the room was unavailable because the host did not fix an issue. Even though I messaged the host that same week to confirm everything was set. I was left pretty much on my own as they canceled my reservation. I had to find a last minute booking and was VERY EXPENSIVE as this was same day. Horrible host.

Management and maintenance- had to chance 4 rooms in 3 days, broken sink, broken air conditioner, broken toilet siphon Staff is amazing Expedia sells private unit - description includes beach & pool but hotel charges extra for beach access - no detail on website !

The room was basic but clean and suited for a family of 4. Resort was nice easy access to the beach and pools. Beach chairs: first come first serve policy not followed by the beach employees. A lot of favoritism in reserving chairs. It creates unnecessary tensions. Beach was beautiful.

If I could leave a 0 review I would. When first arriving we were met with not being able to check in because the host had not sent an email to the hotel notifying them of our arrival. I had to call the host to tell him to send that over so we could even start the check in process. During checkin I was then told that there is an additional balance due of 288.90 for “resort fees” which was not disclosed upfront. The host states it is in the property listing. I did not see this when booking and I did read the listing. Instead of being helpful the host argued with my husband for nearly a half an hour that he has no authority to handle this because he is just the property manager for this property. We end up paying the resort fee which we did not use any amenities at the resort. We literally just needed somewhere to sleep at night. Upon entering the room the thermostat does NOT work. You can not control the temperature in the room. It does whatever it wants. The host was not responding to customer support calls or emails. The host does not respond to messages on this platform. Only will answer calls sometimes. If you want to be deceived out of more money for a room that you might freeze / roast in then go ahead and book this. ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!

Terrible service

It was terrible service! The host did not reply to any email or answer phone calls. We had no fresh towels, wash rags, or cleaning service throughout the entire stay!

We were informed upon arrival there would be an additional daily fee of 135 plus tax that was not disclosed.The listing stated there were no additional fees.This property seems to be known to the front desk staff as a problem unit.We attempted to contact the owner but got no reply.The room is in poor shape. The plumbing has problems. The toilet barely flushes. There is a sign over toilet stating not to flush toilet paper. Not very hygienic. Also there are no extra trash bags for the trash can next to the toilet.The toilet seat was broken.The HVAC filters have not been changed in a very long time.There is black mold in the shower and sink.Several light fixtures were broken and inoperable.Some of the doors and drawers do not close.The kitchen cabinets are labelled with do not open stickers.There appears to be blood on one of the pillows.There was a prescription pill left in the bathroom.Parking cost is 60, we were told 50.We have photos documenting all of this.It is obvious the owner doesn't care about the condition of this property.Overall a very poor experience.
