Located on 10 acres of beautiful country property, our 3 bedroom, 2 bath cabin comes fully equipped with all the comforts of home. The open floorplan is perfect for time away with your loved ones and comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests.

Bedroom details:
* Master bedroom with king bed, large closet, and full bath.
* Queen bed with closet and full bath across the hall.
* Large 2nd story loft with 2 twin beds, couch, and smart tv.

Relax with your morning coffee on the back deck and enjoy the peaceful country setting this cabin has to offer. Outside, guests are free to explore over 10 acres of property with 2 small ponds (fishing poles provided), perfect for early morning walks and/or watching wildlife. Had a long day? Wind down with a little stargazing and one too many s’mores by the back yard fire pit. Work it off the next day with some swimming or hiking at nearby Prairie Creek Reservoir. As hosts, we are devoted to making your stay as comfortable as possible.

This is a great spot and felt like home. The owner was great and everything was expected and made the entire process smooth. We will rent again when we return in 2027 thanks!

This property was amazing for our family. It looked exactly like it is shown online… very comfortable and the host went above and beyond by providing shampoo conditioner and body wash… there was even someLaundry detergent and drier sheets. I highly recommend this place

We were a bit disappointed when we arrived to find that the house sits very close to a fairly busy road as well as an active runway. The exterior of the home needs some serious repairs especially the eavestroughs as there were baby trees growing out of them. As soon as we entered the house we were hit with the strong odor of air freshener. We learned a bit later that this must have been to cover the mold/mildew smell that came up through the registers each time the AC kicked on. We discovered the dishwasher full of clean dishes and were told to put them away ourselves. There were also clean towels in the dryer and gnats EVERYWHERE. We decided not to use the ceiling fans when we noticed the very thick, chunky layer of dirt on the blades. We tried to spen most of our time on the back porch, but people kept driving through the back yard to get to the property behind where we stayed. The man who mowes was also there for 2 of the three days we were there. We had to message for firewood as there wasn't even a single log left in the rack. We brought steaks to grill, but the grill was so dirty that we ended up eating out. By the end of the weekend, we both had sore throats and headaches from the mold. The host was responsive and the bed was comfy. We will not be returning.

Great Stay!

Enjoyed the common room and kitchen for a weekend with family, visiting our daughter at Ball State. Beautiful property, about 20 min from Ball State.

Overall, the property is very nice. We stayed here for our daughter’s graduation at Ball State which is just a short 15 min drive. The house is very comfortable, and can sleep many. Because it is early spring, there might be some maintenance items that haven't been tended to. In the master bath, there was only one light bulb on the vanity that was functioning. Which made lighting difficult to apply makeup. The windows were in desperate need of being washed and cleaned to let in more light and see the beautiful grounds. The kitchen is stocked well, but could be organized in a way that you find what's provided easier. If you want a quiet, peaceful setting, no frills, this property is perfect. Despite the items mentioned above, we would stay again and appreciate the property.

Great Property

We stayed for 3 nights. Cabin was great, family had fun at the property. Fished the ponds in the back and enjoyed the back porch. Kitchen had a bunch of supplies. The cabin is close to a busy road and there was some road noise but we were used to it so not a big deal.

Quick business trip with dog

This was a great spot for us - close to BSU where we had a a few days of training to complete. We love being able to travel with our dog and appreciated the peaceful of privacy of this location. We'll be back!

Lovely rustic cabin in the country

My family stayed here while visiting from GA. The cabin was lovely and very clean. Easy access to near by restaurants and groceries. My family fished the pond multiple times and had a great relaxing weekend. We will definitely be back the next time we visit our Indiana family.

We decided to stay in a vacation house because we could have cook meals. And sleep without parties going on all night. Hearing the birds singing and sitting on the back porch and be able to relax at the end of the day was magical.

Cabin

Beautiful property. Lovely interior design. All amenities well thought out. However the proximity to a very busy road caused us to lose alot of sleep. Not pet friendly in regards to a fence but especially the hardwood floors with no area rugs. My dog was very uncomfortable.

I’m sorry you feel your dog was uncomfortable. Our hard floors help us keep a sterile environment in the cabin. I’m glad everything else was to your liking. As for the traffic keeping you up at night, this is the first time I've heard complaints. The cabin is located on a county road with a fair amount of traffic during the day but hardly anything at night. While the front yard has the road close by, the back yard has 10 acres to explore with your dogs. Most of that is fenced in with a cattle fence and gates.

Country Life without the work, a time to relax

Loved the location and the cozy, comfortable rustic log cabin. Be prepared for a friendly visit from Mr./Mrs. Raccoon, who visited nightly to check the trash can. You will hear a slight knocking on the corner of the house. Sneak a peek off the front porch, and you might want to chase a few fire flies/lighting bugs. The rain drops on the tin roof is also a must experience..loved it, though we only got a small bit of rain. Definitely a place that you can make the most of your time away. Thank you to our host, who quickly figured the tv out for us old folks.

Spacious

The open floor plan was great for our group. The downstairs beds were super comfy. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need to prepare meals. The back deck was also very nice. There were plenty of towels and it was nice that they provided shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The only negatives would be that the house sits really close to the road and the stairs to get down to the fire pit are really steep. It would be awesome if the walkout basement was part of the rental.

Disappointed!! We were visiting family who have lived in Muncie for 5 generations and know the history of the property. The property needs some tender loving care with regards to the landscaping and back deck. The decking has not been properly treated, High risk of splinters. Windows and curtins need cleaned. The gas gril provided was filthy. The two fishing pond are not easily accesible due to the overgrowth of vegatation. Pictures do not accuratly reflect the current condition. Suggest brnging your own drinking water. Linens and towels provided are stained brown due to the water. The property has a musty damp smell that permiates from the closed off lower level. Thank you.

Regarding the ponds, we’ve experienced an unusually wet season with significant rainfall, which has made it difficult to keep up with vegetation growth around the water. We understand that this affected access during your stay, and we’re actively working to address it. The cabin is supplied by a private well, which is common for rural properties. The water is tested and safe to drink, though naturally occurring minerals can occasionally cause staining on linens and fixtures. We respectfully disagree that the listing photos do not accurately represent the property. Our photos are current and are intended to provide an accurate depiction of the cabin and grounds. Seasonal conditions, particularly after an exceptionally wet period, can result in temporary changes to the landscape that are outside our control. Thank you again for your feedback.
