The Sunflower Bungalow

THE Sunflower Bungalow is a delightful space to unwind and take it easy.
Kick back, relax and enjoy the calm and salt air. Walk to the bay and take in spectacular sunsets. Short drive to Victorian Downtown Cape May and beaches. Fresh duvet covers, linens, bath towels, shampoos, shower gel, and essential paper products all supplied to give you more time for yourself.
The space
French doors open from the kitchen onto the deck giving you a place to enjoy your morning coffee . In the evening, the bistro lights throw a warm glow over the deck and yard for you to enjoy an evening cocktail.
The large treed back yard is fenced for privacy with a beautiful assortment of wild song birds that grace the area.
The outdoor shower is a refreshing close after a day at the beach. And the Weber Grill is there to be fired up and grill up local fish or whatever the cook has in mind!
I provide 2 beach tags, you bring the Flip Flops !
Guest access
You will have access to the entire home and yard.
There is door code access and free parking.

This place is adorable. The location is amazing. I’m a bird nerd and I enjoyed listening to the birds in the back yard each day. The house has everything you will need and is spotless. It is just minutes from so many things to see and do. If I’m ever back in the area, I’ll be requesting this bungalow. It’s just perfect and the pictures do not do it justice!

Donna the host was easily accessible if needed. The bungalow was on a quiet street, very close to stores and 1 mile from the beach which had bathrooms. Everything was spotless, large kitchen, great grill and deck. The gazebo was a definite plus!

Our stay here was perfect loved everything about the house its so beautiful and lots of wildlife to watch having tea and location was so perfect, close to everything!I will be back to stay!

We loved our stay! The house is so cute and well maintained. The backyard and gazebo were so nice for enjoying a morning coffee or an evening cocktail. Donna was a great host and very responsive to any questions I had. I hope to be back next year!

We had a great stay at the Sunflower Bungalow. It was perfect for the 3 of us for a short weekend. Located on a quiet street, but close to everything in Cape May. We hope to be back again.

Family Time

We had such a wonderful relaxing time! The Bungalow is very clean, comfortable, in a quiet neighborhood and close to town, beach, shopping and restaurant. Highly recommend this place!

Perfectly quaint home, in a quiet neighborhood. Outside of the chaos of the downtown, but close enough to enjoy all of the attractions in a short drive. Groceries and restaurants are a few minutes drive away. Fishing, shell hunting, and sunset watching are also a very short drive or bike ride to the nearby canal inlet and the beaches of the Delaware bay. The home was clean and prepared for our stay. There is off street parking for two cars. The sleeping would be comfortable for up to a family of 4, and is perfect for a couple's get away. The owner was easy to work with and quickly responded. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay. The only thing I would caution on is that the bathroom is on the smaller side and may not suit everyone's personal needs. It's really a small knock in an otherwise very positive experience. I would recommend this rental. We had a wonderful stay. It was everything we had hoped for and we are very satisfied with our stay.

Donna is a perfect host. The home was cozy and clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting in the private yard each morning enjoying coffee and listening to the birds. I highly recommend!

Cape May has an amazing selection of fine dining for a shore town. I am happy to provide recommendations. Cape May is also a year round community. Summertime at the beach, Autumn is bird watching , December is Holiday House Tours, November and April brings the Jazzfests.
