Peterson Perch is a peaceful East End retreat located in the quiet community of Diamond Rock—perfect for guests looking to stay longer and truly experience Roatán beyond the tourist zones.

The home sits above the coastline with sweeping ocean views and steady trade winds that keep the space cool and comfortable year-round. Camp Bay and Paya Bay—two of the island’s most beautiful and uncrowded beaches—are less than two miles away.

A private pool and custom waterslide offer the option to play, while the surrounding quiet makes it just as easy to relax with a book, work remotely, or settle into a daily rhythm.

Inside, the home features a fully equipped kitchen suitable for everyday cooking, comfortable living spaces, and a dedicated laundry room for longer stays. Local cooks are available if you’d prefer island flavors without the work.

The driveway is now fully paved for easy access, and the home is well suited for guests staying 30–90 days, which aligns perfectly with Honduras’ standard tourist visa duration.

Roatan East End

We Loved it! East end of Roatan is not Miami Beach. If you are looking for luxury do not look in east end of Roatan! The roads are bad and there is little infrastructure. If you are looking for Incredible beaches to yourself go here. If you are looking for Incredible people who are always smiling and genuinely friendly go here. We were invited to the local soccer field to watch the local team play in the finals. We made the mistake of sitting in the wrong section. We were cheering for the wrong team. Scary, right? Don't be ridiculous. We could not have felt more welcome. Everyone was having a great time and included us in the festivities. If you are looking for breathtaking scenery, both the ocean and the national park, go here. Rent a small SUV to navigate the roads and hills and start your adventure in Diamond Rock. Spend your days on the nearby beaches. Dine and drink in a locally owned and operated Palapa on the beach. Meet new friends and plan your return trip! Just don't plan for February 2025, we have already reserved that! Andy and Jayden will make sure your stay at Diamond Rock is an adventure to remember.

We built Peterson Perch as a place to unplug from crowds and reconnect—with nature, with each other, and with the simple joys of island living.

We especially love welcoming guests who want to stay awhile—whether that’s a month, a season, or longer—and truly experience the East End the way locals do.

Here, mornings start with ocean breezes and birds instead of traffic. Evenings end with stars, quiet, and the sound of the wind moving through the palms.

Camp Bay and Paya Bay are just minutes away, offering some of the island’s most beautiful and uncrowded beaches, and the trail to Picacho Peak begins right from the property.

This is a place for people who value peace, space, and authenticity over convenience and crowds.
