Never Winter is a beachfront home on the calm north shore in a small private community (Milton Point). World class snorkeling/diving on the world's second largest barrier reef at your doorstep. This is the relaxing beach vacation you have been waiting for! Stay and play at Never Winter Playa and make lasting memories with your group of family/friends.

This recently remodeled and modernized 3 bedroom beach house with all the essentials. Private pool, Full kitchen and outdoor grill. You are only steps from the water! We have 4 stand up paddle boards, 2 person kayak and snorkel equipment available for you to use any time. There is a plunge pool, private palapa, dock, and fire pit with plenty of seating and hammock hangout area on property for your enjoyment. We have a beautiful white sand beach and swimming area that is maintained daily. Available for this home is a full outside bathroom so that you can shower off after spending the day on the beach before you head up to the house. Lots of lounging space on the screened in porch.

If you have a bigger group we have the beach front Casita that is also available to rent at an additional price. This Casita will be blocked out also if you rent the main house so that you are the only one on the property.

Car rental is highly recommended (we can suggest a local car rental company that is affordable). Round trip airport transportation can be arranged for an additional fee (with a stop at the grocery store on the way to the property). We are a 15 minute drive to the nearest town of French Harbour that has a grocery store and restaurants. We are 25-30 min from Coxen Hole where the airport and cruise ports are. And then about 60 min drive from West End.

Property Managers available 24/7 and Concierge Service

Electricity in Roatan is about .43cents per KW, we have put an electricity fee for the booking however if you go over we will have to charge the extra, (We have a nice breeze most of the time). No smoking please.

First, let me start by saying this is a nice place to stay. It is right on the beach, with a pool, and a private dock. The location is great for getting to the entire island. The house is well kept and up to date; however, there are a few things in the listing that should be clarified or corrected. First, it does have two bathrooms, but one of them is only accessible from outside. Second, there is no hot tub.We also used the chef service for three nights and that was fantastic. Juanita made some wonderful dinners for us that included appetizers, the main meal, and a dessert.Besides the surprise that one of the bathrooms was outside, there were a few little hang ups when we showed up. The pool wasn’t ready, and we had to request some of the basics such as toilet paper and shower gel.And lastly, you should bring plenty of bug spray because the sand flies ate us up. Desiree, the host, did warn us to wear our bug spray, so that is not a knock on the property. Just be prepared.If I was inclined to go back to Roatan, I would not hesitate to stay here.

Beautiful Property!

The property was clean and beautiful. It had everything we needed for cooking to activities out of doors. The team available to answer our questions and guide us were outstanding! The concierge set us up for success with groceries, an in-home cook and a groundskeeper with all the answers. We are ready to go back!
The owners put a lot of love and special touches on this place.
Gorgeous sunset every evening.
Perfect 82 degrees and sunny everyday.

Beautiful and private!

The house is exactly as advertised, but the view and the privacy are beyond words. We spent the entire day between the dock, swimming in the sea, and then the pool and the only person we saw was the property caretaker who we barely even saw. This stay was exactly what we needed. Definitely rent a car, but be sure to follow the signs for Reef Retreat once you get to Milton Bight. It is an easy drive and the bridge is super cool!

Amazing Stay at Never Winter – Safe, Beautiful, and Outstanding Service!

Our stay at Never Winter was incredible! The property is beautiful, safe, and secure, making for a truly relaxing getaway. The staff was excellent—especially Bryan, who took great care of the property and ensured we had everything we needed. If you’re looking for a fantastic place to stay in Roatan, this is it. Beautiful property, perfect location, friendly staff, unfortunately we only had 3 days at the property but everything was perfect!!! If we come back to Roatan, we’ll definitely staying here again and have Gail to cook some delicious meals for us!

The Perfect Getaway

Never Winter Playa was the perfect getaway for my partner, my friends and I. The private beach and dock are incredible and has access to the mesoamerican reef right outside your door. We loved the property and amenities. We especially enjoyed the access to the paddle board and kayaks. We will definitely choose this property on our next trip to Roatán.

Great Property

This property is beautiful. The house is great. It has everything you could need (towels, books, sunblock, bug juice, sups, snorkel gear, binos). The washer and dryer was adequate. We brought Tide pods from home. Bring some dryer sheets. There's flats fishing right off the dock. There's a guy next door with a boat who'll take you out snorkeling or diving. There are dive sites right there. The only real knock is the location. It's about 20/25 minutes from the grocery store and more importantly, the last portion of the road is pothole ridden and you will be going 5 mph in the worst portions as you and everyone else picks your way through. It's not a major problem... you just have to be patient. It wouldn't prevent me from staying here again. If you rent a car get one with clearance. Anything other than a sedan will do. As others have said... absolutely do not sleep on booking the chef. She is out of this world. Book her early. I waited and by the time I decided several days were already booked. The meals were outstanding and each meal had enough leftovers for an entire other meal (lunch the next day or even another dinner). The grocery store has everything you could want and you'll find many of the brands you know. Property management was excellent and super responsive.

Awesome Place to Stay

Neverwinter is a great property. My family and I really enjoyed our stay there. We liked the clear calm water right out front, the dock, etc. everything was perfect.

Overall great location

The property was a little difficult to locate if you aren't familar with the island. We did not have internet except wi-fi so no GPS. Be sure to print off a map. We were a bit nervous on the way to where we thought it was as you have to go through a small village and dirt roads and then over a one car only wooden plank bridge. But this is probably not uncommon, we just weren't expecting it. The house was beautiful and clean. We spent a lot of time on the back screened in porch when we weren't in the water. The dock was perfect. We spent a lot of time snorkeling directly from the dock and out the path towards the reef but we never made it completely out to the reef. The water from the dock was clear but not the turquoise blue I was hoping for and there was quite a bit of seagrass. The upper portion of the dock was perfect for watching sunsets. I liked the location because it was not in the touristy area like West End and West Bay. It was very quiet. Everything worked in the house. The caretaker of the property was very nice and friendly. As well as the security guard that walked the house at night. If we ever get back to Roatan, I would stay here again.

Amazing experience

This is just a gem of a property in beautiful Roatan. The property is located in the middle of the island and is in a very calm bay of sorts. We had 2 kids 9 6 and 7) and they could play in the water, ride the paddleboards and swim in the calm waters, shallowish waters. The property managers were excellent. There were a a few problems that popped up (nothing major) and the property managers were super responsive and proactive about mitigating any issues that came up. In addition, the maintenance team was amazing, they kept the property pristine during our entire trip. Everything about this trip and the property were 5 stars in my opinion. The only bit of advice I would offer is to remember that this is a beachfront property so when the sun starts to go down, the mosquitos come out so bring extra repellant (but hey that's the cost of being in absolute paradise). My family and I will come back and when we do we will stay at Never Winter again!

Great Rental!

Great family vacation stay! The house was better than expected…some of the recent re-models not yet reflected on VRBO pictures! Having Juana cook was the highlight…highly recommended! Neighbor Scott was a fantastic snorkeling guide! Only downside was lack of hot water….perhaps result of winter month visit!

Roatan Adventure

Wonderful property! Very peaceful as well. We loved some many things about the property. We spent most of our time out on the boat deck. There was a cool breeze most of the time and at night the stars were awesome. The kids loved the pool! The sea kayak was our vehicle to snorkeling where there was tons of sea life. Several days the sea was completely calm. The property had a very nice gentlemen that helped with managing the kayaks, cleaning up the beach and fixing anything we needed. The property manager was extremely responsive to our needs and actually helped us find a great dive shop “key divers” to scuba certify my son after several attempts to contact dive shops with no response. They responded in minutes. There are three houses on this property in total. It would be the perfect place for a larger family to each have their own space. The house was gorgeous as well. The A/C was a wonderful addition at night to sleep. The breeze normally kept the house cool. Absolutely recommend this property. Wonderful property and wonderful people helping with your every need. Cannot wait to come back.

Never Winter was Heaven!

Everything was exceptional and wow what a location! The owners Jess and Brian were delightful and readily available if we needed anything or just advice from a local; very gracious hosts! The weather was perfect so we spent most of our time either scuba diving or snorkeling right from the Pupilar that extends into the water. We found on the last day that the diving was best at the west end and we went with a group called Ocean Glidders who were a real class act! I would recommend a SUV or 4x4 because of the terrain and the condition of some of the back roads. Driving can be a little scary at first but you get used to it rather quickly. The food at the local restaurants was exceptional and at a surprising cost (less than in the US). we grilled out one night and that was fun. Take bug spray because the no seeums are out in the morning and evening. That would be my only complaint. I will definitely be back! Thank you Jess and Brian!

Wonderful getaway in the sun

Our group of six stayed home and had a wonderful time. Jess and Brian are both terrific hosts. Un fortunately for us, we had five very wet days with more than normal rain so we didn’t get to enjoy the property’s terrific outdoor spaces as much as we otherwise would have. (The outdoor spaces are what really make this place special.) We did have some fun adventures driving around the island though. Highly recommend having a car if you stay here, and seafood soup in nearby Punta Gorda and driving out to La Sirena and walking along Camp Bay Beach.

Never Winter was awesome!

Absolutely loved our stay at Never Winter! Me and two old motorcycle buddies and me stayed at NW for a week and had a blast. Jess and Brian were the most friendly and gracious hosts! Reef was a super cool dog too! Eduin was friendly and quick to climb a palm tree for some coconuts (which of course we added rum to)! We sat out on the beach or the pupula (sp?) every night and watched the sunset. Gorgeous location and views! Jess coordinated a driver when we wanted to go out to watch the Superbowl. For the other days we had rented a vehicle (highly recommend a 4x4 for the Roatan terrain and roads!). Jess gave personalized snorkel lessons to Jerry and also some awesome recommendations for places to go and eat. Perfect week! Thanks guys!

Perfect for an adventure

The property is perfect for 6 women looking to enjoy the sun and go on an adventure. Jess and Brian were wonderful to work with and answered all of our questions. We loved the dock, the hummingbirds and of course, Reef and Sunny. The house was a great home base to explore the island and to just hang out when we got tired. We snorkeled (although there aren't many fish near the house) and had scuba dives with the dive shop next door (they were very nice, but not as organized as I wouldn't liked). We also ate at Kristie's Overlook, Bella's and spent a few day in West Bay/West End. It was a wonderful trip!

Location location location!

Exceptional! Wow what a location!!! Brian & Jessica have done such an incredible job on their home. Everything is meticulous & the pictures do not do it justice. Our 3 bedroom house was gorgeous. The view of the ocean & with our own deck and shaded sitting area we had the view to die for. The house has a living roomful, full kitchen with gas stove, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (one of the bathrooms includes a beautiful outdoor shower). The entire home is so comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed watching movies at night & the huge selection of DVD's as well as many family games. Pristine beach maintained daily by the wonderful Edwin & the most wow over water deck to watch the sunsets & sunrises! We enjoyed the firepit & night with a lovely honeymoon couple staying in the other gorgeous one bedroom cottage. We managed to enjoy a sunset cruise aswell. Jessica recommended a great driver to pick us up & take us around the island & everyone was so welcoming. Jessica gave us so much info on what we could do around the island.. Sunny respite from winter

This rental property was everything we had hoped and more. Far enough away from the crowded chaos of the west end, but close enough to essentials. The hosts were extremely helpful and accommodating, making the whole process of traveling to a foreign country (even during a pandemic) very easy. Our time there was so peaceful and gave us the recharge we needed.
