The River Cottage is nestled right in the heart of the historic village of Sperryville in Rappahannock County, Virginia.This charming one story privatestructure was built in the early 1900's - owned by John Kiger. The building, now on the National Register of Historic Places, was originally a blacksmith shop. Conestoga wagons were made behind 29 Main Street along the Thornton River.
