Relax and get away from it all at this newly renovated cottage in historic Miller Place. Enjoy your private fenced in backyard with your own deck, picnic table and BBQ. You can walk across the street to the historic Miller Place Pond or walk 2 blocks to the famous McNulty's Ice Cream Parlor. Take your beach gear 2 miles to Cedar Beach or go 4.5 miles to Port Jefferson for the best food and entertainment. So many options for dinning and entertainment. You are at the foot of wine country!.
Other things to note
STREET SIDE PARKING ONLY ON A PRIVATE COUNTRY ROAD 20 steps to the entrance of the cottage, come thru the private gate..For all the base balll fans, travel a few miles down the road to Baseballl Heaven.

The Cottage is Beautiful. Rooms are immaculate. Lots of amenities. Nothing left undone. Pet friendly with a large yard. The host messages you back quickly if you have questions. Stores and Restaurants Close by. We highly recommend staying here!

This was a great place to stay, clean, decorated nicely, everything worked well, kitchen was well stocked,washing machines were so handy, porch and lighting was great. I felt at home in this cottage and will rent it again. Great location, I was concerned about parking on the street but it was fine. nearby deli for breakfast ,very conveniently located. Rob was a great host

Wonderful trip

We were looking for a property close to my in-laws where we could bring our 2 pups and we found this wonderful home. The cottage is much bigger than expected and beautifully furnished and well-equipped. Full size washer and dryer with newer appliances and a fenced in yard for the dogs. AC also worked very nicely during a very warm week. Plenty of towels, sheets, and roll away bed made our stay perfect. Definitely would stay again!

Always a nice stay

We stay at the country cottages when visiting family on Long Island. Our two dogs love the yard and it’s a quiet, safe space close to everything. Rob is a great host and we will continue to return.

Long Weekend

I booked this property as I was running my first 50-mile race and it was located within 2 miles from the starting trailhead! I wanted a place close by that was big enough to house 4 people total and this cottage provided exactly that. The pictures don’t do it justice truthfully as it was much bigger than I thought it was going to be. The house was very cozy and welcoming, and provided everything I needed for a weekend away. I will definitely book it again!

A terrible host.

Never gave us check in instructions. I messaged him 3 days before the check in day. He said he would let us know at noon on the day. It didn’t happen. I tried all the possible ways to contact him. The customer service also tried. No response. Very hard to find another accommodation at the last minute. Totally disappointed.

Scammer cancelled our stay one hour before check-in. VRBO did not honor their guarantee.

We reserved this day in May and continue to communicate with the owner through early july. On the morning of our stay I contacted him to ask about checking information and he sent me the key code and wished us a great day. 1 hour prior to check in we inexplicably received cancellation of our stay. The owner made bizarre statements about the rbo being monsters and terrible people and saying he would never do business with them. When I told him that I was a family of five and we needed a place to stay and this was unfair he basically said to try to book the same place with him through the competitor which obviously we would never want to do because of the way he treated us. When I reached out to the rbo the similarly offered absolutely no satisfaction. They're only offer was to allow me to read book something else through them again. However they even stated in their own email that they didn't have any access different than what I could get through the website so I should probably just do it myself. This is the worst company I've ever dealt with and I will never ever stay with them again.
