Built in the 1940’s, this home has been in my family for over 60 years. One of the few remaining original Mellethin “birdhouse homes” left in the Valley, this unique home has been updated while keeping the quirky Original charm making you feel like you’ve been thrown back to a different era. A quiet Hideaway. Close to Universal Studios, shops, dining.

Wonderful property and owner. The neighborhood is gorgeous and centrally located. We loved the old ‘40’s style house and decor. Cam is super helpful and caring. We will definitely be back.

Charming house!

Me, my husband and our 2 kids (13 & 10) had a great time. Came for a Universal Studios trip and loved the house and its proximity to everything. Easy check in and house was perfect - just as described. Kids have already requested to stay here again the next time we come to universal.

Large comfortable home

This house was in very great shape, clean and gave us a nice rest after 2 weeks of traveling. It was well equipped and comfortable for our family of 5 adults. A quiet neighborhood and off-street parking were also a plus. We enjoyed our stay.

December family trip

Absolutely loved this home! It's very cute and unique. The location is perfect for site seeing and visiting popular LA destinations. My family truly enjoyed our stay and would come back here again!!

Family trip ahead of the holidays

We wanted a place that was big enough for all of us to spread out yet still have family time. This house provide just that. It was close to where we wanted to go and Cam was very responsive to every inquiry.

Charming, Comfortable & Quiet

My family and I really enjoyed our stay! The property is charming. It was clean, and we loved the mid century decor. There was plenty of space for our party of seven. Cam was a wonderful host - very communicative and responsive. We would 100% stay here again!

Family LA Vacation

We came to go to Universal Studios and visit LA. The home is just like the photos with a beautiful back yard and lovely fruit trees. The neighborhood is very nice and safe. We enjoyed taking walks around there. It was close to Universal and very well located for sight seeing. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again.

Medical Stay

The owner of the location, Cam, was very helpful with information about proximity to the hospital that a family member was having surgery at. We had a very comfortable stay before surgery day and the location was close to many attractions in the city. The house had a great deal of charm. The explanation of the historic nature of the house was a nice added touch as well.

Charming home

We had a wonderful stay! Cam was a wonderful host, very responsive, if need be her family home is super charming, perfect, cozy place to stay if we come back we will most definitely rented if it’s available! * quiet place to stay. The neighborhood is very quiet clean perfect walking distance to the park.* my kids, loved the orange tree in the backyard and made fresh squeezed orange juice couple mornings

Lovely house in beautiful neighborhood.

This property was in a lovely neighborhood.....Everything we needed was nearby. It was fully stocked. We had everything we needed. Would have liked clean outdoor furniture to enjoy the lovely backyard. The orange trees provided delicious juice for our breakfast!

Lovely Stay

The house was really nice. It was a little bit dated, but clean and very well furnished. The location was outstanding. If you're going to Universal Studios it's just a short hop. Just 3 blocks or so off Laurel Canyon Blvd, but tucked away in a very quiet nice neighborhood. I really appreciated the fact that the bathrooms and kitchen were full equipped -- there was even shampoo and lots of basic kitchen supplies. Lots of usable leftovers - coffee, peanut butter, cooking oil, etc etc. neighborhood.

Old style family charm. If you're looking for hassle free this is the property and owner

Absolutely awesome. Took some adjustment to the house but that's us. it's clean, safe, convenient, and really nice. A little on the older side - so if you're looking for super new this isn't it - but it's immaculate in every other way. The owner is awesome, very communicative, responsive and an absolute gem.

House away from home 🏡

The property was very beautiful all around, inside was super clean , on the outside the chairs and tablets , and sitting areas was dirty , dusty . Its California and its hot and windy so it kinda make sense but you can tell those furniture outside haven't been clean for awhile and haven't been clean for our arrival. Nevertheless neighborhood seems very safe , neighbors was super friendly to the point where they became a little too noisy , constantly looking through windows on us but again that wasn't a big deal since i figure they were just looking out for their beautiful peaceful neighborhood. I had a little issue enter the hosue and the host responded immediately and help me fix the issue , once the issue was fix the host didn't try to bother us at all and just let us enjoyed our stay . The house have some fruits three and a big backyard which was a extra plus . We went out, got food and drinks , play some music on a low level and just relax outside and have a nice dinner while enjoying the outdoor space, I've hang out with my family every so often so i will definitely be using this place more often . Im going to make it my second give away home 😊 Highly recommended,
