Cozy beachside studio overlooking Lake Superior sits right on the beach. Simple and charming room with log beams, wood floors and big views. Queen size bed looks out at the sun and moon rises, vanity, private bath with shower and toilet. There's a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. No kitchen, but located right downtown Grand Marais, you can walk to all the restaurants for meals. Enjoy a beach fire in the evenings, or stream a movie on the free wi-fi. Basic accommodations, but you'll love the quaint charm and unparalleled location.

Wow - can I just stay here forever? This space was perfect for our short three nights and this morning’s bed view sunrise was spectacular. If you’re looking for a simple place on the beach and in the heart of town, this is it. Nothing fancy - yet absolutely perfect. Thank you!

This is our 5th our 6th stay here, so obviously we love it. We love the upstairs and downstairs units and we love it in both the summer and the winter. The location is perfect.

Great location, was able to park the car and not use it until we left. Gulls start vocalizing early, so get up and out and enjoy yourself.

Great location! Easy walking to shops and restaurants. You will hear the people upstairs. Could use some new pillows, you may want to bring your own. We hope to see ay again.

Rental is in such a great location! Rental process was smooth. May want to mention that it is located in the same building as the realty office to make it easier to locate. Unit was clean and the view of the lake/beach is awesome!! It's too bad there is not more of a kitchen in the rental, even if it was just a small apartment fridge, sink and a cooktop...or a larger fridge in the unit and a grill that the two units could use. It's location is located right in the downtown/harbor area, so it's easy to walk to everything. Perfect for the Fisherman's Picnic. We will stay here again!!

Great location

We stay here every time we come to Grand Marais. It’s a perfect spot on the water and right in town so you can walk everywhere. A good place to head out on the paddleboard, have an evening fire, quick walk to shops and restaurants.

Stellar location, walking distance to everything in town, including the lighthouse and Artist’s Point. Wake up to the crashing waves of Lake Superior and an amazing view. This was my 2nd stay and I hope to stay again!

Arrived in the first week in May. The season was barely starting and many businesses were closed or operating at reduced hours. Still it is beautiful and if quiet is what your after. What could be better than a private beach. Loved watching the sun rise over the water. Short walks to the bakery for morning coffee and breakfast at the diner next door. More shops would be open in late May but more people as well. This place suited me quite well. I recommend it.

This is our 4th time staying here and after having come at least once a year, often twice - in the summer and winter - for over 30 years, this is our favority place to stay. It is "our" little home right on the beach and right in town.

Great little getaway

This was the perfect little spot to stay for my Grand Marais solo-cation. The location and view can’t be beat! It’s definitely a bare-bones stay, but that’s all I really needed for this trip. I’d definitely stay here again!
