Cozy and Clean RV
Our stay was nice. It is not far at all from the entrance to the beach and there is a convenient store in walking distance. The pictures are very accurate. The RV is very clean. This was our first stay in an RV. We are a family of 5. We learned that we would need a bigger RV next time. I think the RV is perfect for 4 or less. There were Raspberry Ants in the pantry and stove area. I know if I would have reported that to the host he would have taken care of it. However, we were not cooking in there and the little food we had, we kept tightly secured to not attract the ants. The host would immediately respond with any of my concerns. There were towels available for bathing, however 4 towels for a family of 5 staying for 4 days was not enough. The patio area was nice when there was a constant breeze in the evening. If taking pets, make sure you take dog poop bags because cleaning up after your dog is mandatory. You will also want to take a leash since there are other dogs on the property. If you want yo eat out you will drive about 13 to 15 miles into Lake Jackson for a better selection of food. Port Cafe is highly recommended, not too far from Surfside. They had a delicious breakfast with a buffet! Overall, we had a pleasant stay. If my husband were to come back alone for a getaway, we would stay the RV!
