Welcome to Sherbet Lane. Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located cottage, .5 miles from the beach. Makin’ Waved is a peaceful space accented with coastal decor. We offer complimentary cold water, hot coffee plus a light breakfast which includes ingredients to make waffles or hot oatmeal.

Our keyless entry and brightly lit patio provides safety when coming in after dark. Full laundry services inside every cottage. Our entire home is your home, even it’s for only a few days! We want you to relax and enjoy your stay on Galveston Island. This cottage is in the ground level. There is a unit upstairs that hosts other guests. Guests have access to the entire bottom level of this home.
Guests have access to the entire backyard!

Bikers can lock their bikes behind our fence for safety. You can see the cruise ships arriving from our front porch! Very easy access for cruisers.

The place was perfect for our fishing trip. We did have to deal with a weird neighbor that told us he was "security " for the property. We called the local police and they explained that he was not a threat. Still a little bit late at night to deal with such a thing

Our group of 4 stayed here the night before our cruise. This was a great location for exploring Galveston and is very cute inside. The hosts are very responsive to questions and easy to work with.

The place was nicely decorated & very, very clean. They provided tea and coffee which was much appreciated in the morning. Lastly, we were impressed that they actually had comfortable mattresses for the beds. It meet all of our expectations.

Everything was perfect! This lodging didnt miss a beat with every amenity one could ask for. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and absolutely will the next time we cruise out of Galveston. Loved this place! The beds were so comfy! Thanks Kally & Orlando!

I would say my stay was okay. I only say that because my family and I saw roaches in the property which made us very uneasy and uncomfortable. We had to keep opening and closing our suitcases because we didn't want to leave anything open or unzipped for fear roaches would get in our luggage. We slept with lights on because we feared the roaches would come out at night in the dark. The place was tidy and cute but could have been a little cleaner. The microwave had a old food stain on the plate that I had to clean before using it (not a big deal but was the first red flag). The refrigerator is not tall and I could see the top of it which was full of dust. We saw a total of 6 roaches during our short stay (not even 24 hours). Not the worst but can be better. Looked exactly as described. If not for the roaches I would have stayed there again.

We love Galveston. It's an interesting and fun island. There is a lot to do in the area and our property is centrally located, so we are close to everything. We personally suggest having a vehicle when you stay. This island is large and walking would be tiresome.

Our neighborhood is a multi-cultural neighborhood, centrally locally in Galveston. Because it's centrally located, you will sometime hear the sounds of sirens. In addition, our neighbors across the way enjoy the island vibe which includes listening to music and hosting small gatherings. They typically turn their music down by 9:00pm. When you're inside the home, you can barely hear the music. If you are sensitive to sounds, our property may not be the best option. If you enjoy experiencing liveliness and ethic diversity, then our property is perfect.

This is more than a little lime cottage. We have also a created a fun experience for your stay with us. We took our love of the ocean and created the Makin' Waves experience. In addition to all the fun but classy beach-themed touches throughout the cottage, we have also included 4 satin robes. Makin' Waves is perfect for a fun staycation, the weekend cruiser, a birthday celebration, the annual girls trip, or that romantic getaway! We know your stay in Galveston will be a sweet adventure. Hopefully, you'll find our home relaxing and stress free. We have stocked our kitchen full of coffee, tea and water. Along with a few breakfast items to start your day.
