Enjoy a classic Maine lakeside escape at this 4-bedroom, 2-bath cottage on Frye Island’s eastern shore. With a beautiful sandy beach, a dock for boating, and a scenic platform overlooking Sebago Lake, it’s perfect for family fun, swimming, or simply relaxing by the water. Start your mornings with sunrise views from the screened porch or a peaceful hammock swing.

Water lovers will have plenty to do! Bring a boat (up to 40 feet) or enjoy the two kayaks, rowboat, windsurfer, sunfish, and paddleboard provided. Sebago Lake connects to Brandy Pond and Long Lake via the scenic Songo River, offering over 40 miles of navigable waterways to explore.

Frye Island itself adds even more to your stay: 12 sandy association beaches, a swimming pool, tennis and pickleball courts, a golf course, a local restaurant, and an ice cream stand. Whether you’re seeking relaxation, adventure, or a mix of both, this waterfront cottage is the perfect base for a memorable Maine vacation.

Nice WSeek on the Island

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had mostly nice weather albeit the first and the next to last days were rainy, but that just gave us the opportunity to kick back and relax. We had a good time, but we likely will not return to Frye Island in the future because the $40 ferry ride makes it a bit too pricey to go off island. Make sure you stock up on enough groceries, etc. for the entire week. Otherwise it is very nice there.

Family summer vacation on Frye Island.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been renting summer cottages for approximately 28 years on FI. During this time the housing has changed quite a bit and the pricing for a week’s stay have increased almost to the point of being unreachable for the two to three weeks we like to have our family gatherings. But we have continued to come back because it is a very unique and lovely place to unwind and vacation and continue our tradition with grandchildren. I find the prices do not coincide with my expectations many times as to the accommodations we have. The property this year had a lovely sandy beach for our littlest family members. The kitchen and house was bright and well appointed with child plastic cups, toys, water and sand buckets, and a beautiful screen porch for a place to gather. There was plenty of serving bowls, pots and pans etc. however the knives left much to be desired for sharpness. Need some help with those. The cottage was basically clean, but could use some declutterring with the drawers, on top of porch frig and corner in loft and belongings stored on the porch. There were issues concerning the safety and cleanliness when we first arrived but Krainin addressed the issues and the FI manager was helpful in repairing a few things we had issues with. I was very impressed with Krainin’s quick responses and help they lent us during our stay. We enjoyed our stay and memories were made for another year and generation. Thank you for sharing the vacation home with us.
